I have used a lot of phones under 20k. I have found that to this date the Mi A1 had THE most stable Gcam ports in this range. Not only that, Mi A1 still produces some mindblowing shots with Gcam versions 6 and 7 even today. It is still better than 95% of today's midrange phone cameras.
Realme 7 Pro has a Camera which even beats Gcam in Night Mode sometimes!
So no use of Gcam!
@@dvdarshan Yes, Realme 7 Pro really has a capable camera hardware. But Hardware is only the half part of the story, and Google has demonstrated that again and again over the years. Already Gizmoddict and Technolobe has shown in their videos how using Gcam on Realme 7 Pro can take the advantage of the good camera hardware to produce even better pictures than stock in some conditions. Gcam port developments will always be beneficial for markets like India where there are a lot of midrange phone users. It is like a free upgrade to your stock camera system.

So there is no need of a GCAM especially for night mode!
I agree that in day light, Gcam produces natural colours than stock in some conditions!

I find myself very rarely using the stock app, there's simply too much noise reduction, and I hate it. Raw photos at 15.9 mpx look better then a 64 mpx photo took with the stock app. Hope to see G-Cam configs that unlock all the camera potentialities

Recently installed gcam on Redmi note 7s and Redmi note 9 pro, its just amazing to see the difference in image quality, it just blows your mind. Night sight is simply amazing with astrophotography. Gcam is like installing new better camera on your phone. Though I have to tinker with multiple gcams for the 9 pro. But once you get the stable gcam for the phone there's no going back to the stock camera.
Bro I tried again and now it works perfectly I can't even express how better my camera has gotten . I have installed the custom rom from pixel experience . It's killer smooth and later the gcam

Can you plz make one vedio about one old phone i.e. poco f1 like how it performs now and how are the cameras ,battery life etc.
I've been using f1 since release and I can say it runs well. Don't game that much but its pretty good on stock android.
The battery life is decreasing but not that much, instead of charging every 2-3 days on medium use, I charge them every 1.5 day or at night.

Since 1 week my front camera and UW camera is not working whenever I open camera app and switch to front/UW camera it just freezes.
I have tried resetting camera settings and also did factory reset to my phone, but the problem still persists.

@@alexandranaziri7622 yes, there's a difference and I would say the night shots taken using gcam are slightly brighter, lightings are good, and more details.. plus the selfies looks better too, more details than the stock camera.. welcome :)

from experience, X3 is an amazing phone specially the camera.. it has a great potential.. I hope u get what u really want..
For most people Gcam maybe giving better results in some scenarios, but for serious photographer the native camera app in pro mode have RAW-DNG capability, which is the holy grail in photography. If you know how to develop it, in lightroom for example, you surpass any jpg algorithm from any app.

how is the processing speed after taking a hdr shot? in gcam does it take very long due to the processor
I installed this google cam. Only the "night sight" works well. Other than that this gcam is full of bugs.

Gcam is only for low light conditions, like night and astrophotography
How can you say no difference on the shots... but clearly the stock camera overly saturates colors and tone maps the shadows agggressively.

In the stock cam it ask me if I want to use 0.6x (wide angle) 1x (main cam) and then 2x - is the last one the depth sensor?

GCam is very good... Capture from both camera app and zoom the picture you will see the difference... GCam always win in terms of details..

i had to switch to oppo reno 4 and it has 48mp main cam and gcam works but hdr+ enhanced doesn't work on the main shooter even with other version but in the wide and selfie cam it works. Do you have any fix? Thank you if u notice this
