- Hi everyone, welcome to my channel! If you own a Toshiba or Insignia Fire TV Edition Smart TV, you may experience a bug where your home screen appears zoomed out and all the icons and thumbnails are small. In todays video I will show you how to restore the home screen and icons back to normal.

I can not say for sure but, I did get an update for my Insignia Fire Edition TV about a week or so that may or may not of included a fix for this bug but you should check your TV for any available updates.
I thought my youngest did something to our tv or something. Thank you for this!! A week ago our tv just looked weird on the home screens. Thank you now I can read it again!!

Yet again, my Insignia Fire TV proves it is a poorly designed, buggy mess of a product. The prior issue was that it was automatically dimming 4K codecs to the point of being nearly unwatchable, and the only way to fix it was to enter image settings *while playing a 4K video*, otherwise if I fixed the settings in the main menu, it would always revert back to the dim image the moment I played a 4K video again. Now, this issue is happening. I'm sick of having to solve puzzles just to watch my damn television. Lol. Thank you for this fix.

This worked for me! My UA-cam videos were small only showing in the top left hand corner. Did the reset from the remote hack he showed and viola 😊

You are welcome. Glad I could help! I think it will depend on the TV brand you have. It seems that Toshiba Fire TVs it happens more often than Insignia Fire TVs. I have a 2018 Insignia Fire TV and since I made the video, it happened one more time so far, knock on wood! There was an update available for my TV a few days ago, but I can not say it had anything to do with fixing this issue. I hope it did, I just have to wait and see. Check your TV for any available updates. You never know, they may of fixed it!
