Looks great! As user of the curler it’s about your technique and how close the twists are to each other. The looser the twist the looser the take down. On the ends you have to go over the ends carefully for bumped en. I use additionally satin scrunchies to perfect the ends. Menopause is hell on our hair so please share more!
Thank you! I think if I do it again I'm going to add a little bit more moose to the ends so that the wave is a little bit more defined. Did you do something similar?
@BeautyIsWhatIDo2.0 . No. I tried after a silk press. I'm trying to find the best method to achieve those curls. I have braids now but I want to wear a similar style in the next month.
Happy 2025 Darlene! I recommend that you try Keracare Hydrating Detangling shampoo and Keracare Humecto Creme Conditioner. They work wonders on dry hair. I've been using the duo for 2 years to date. My only regret is that I didn't discover them earlier. Let me know how it works out for you luv. Best wishes from a fellow Gen X 😉
Awww... It's a little easier to wear my hair out because I work from home but I can understand keeping your hair in a protective style especially if you're traveling a lot and having to go out of the house daily........I get it!
Girl same thing happened to me Last night recording my prayer board video. My son comes in says my phone was dead. Entire board was done. Needless to say I didn’t get to post yesterday so it’s coming up today. But I wanted to cry lol. So I have this for the heat less curls but I haven’t used it. I wonder if my front layers will grab it.
Girl… When it happens you just gotta walk away, just walk away! Come back recoup and get it done. Anyway I do think it will grab your front layers you may just have to use a little bit of moose so they can grab a stick and maybe take smaller pieces of hair whereas I think I took bigger pieces of hair and spaced it out a little bit too much.
@@BeautyIsWhatIDo2.0 when my saunter does it, it comes out gorgeous. I need to get on it. But I feel like i don’t want to go through the trouble of getting my arms tired 🤣🤣🤣 my hair is down to my butt almost
thank you so much! My friend I am going to stay in my lane because I don't know anything about hair color… I only do make up and I kinda have an idea of what hair colors look good on me. But what I will be doing more of in the future are some wig reviews and I think that we can get a lot of inspiration from that to know which hair colors will be best for women in midlife🤗
question: being that you have color in your hair. don't you have to keep your hair washed and conditioned more that just one month? and one question have you tried bask and lather company shampoo? it is a black owned company and the shampoo and conditioner is really good for me. just giving a suggestion.
I have been coloring my hair for at least 20 years and to be honest it has never affected the condition of my hair so I guess i have been blessed in that aspect. However, I have discovered if I mess with it too much on my own and not go get it professionally done that it will start to break at that point. Yes I have tried the bask and lather Company but not the shampoo I believe I tried the hair oil and I actually really loved it. Thanks for reminding me of that company again😍
@ thanks for the info. I actually just got my hair colored to hide my grays for the first time . But my daughters were against it . They said mom you will have to constantly keep your hair treated . But that didn’t stop me . I got it done anyway . But your hair always look last great . !!! And your make up flawless . I am encouraged by you . Have a blessed night and thanks for answering me .
I love it! ❤❤
Thank you!

Your hair is beautiful
Thank you! I'm enjoying it!
love this! Is your hair relaxed or natural?
@@tlparties thank you so much! It is natural. I haven’t been relaxed for over 15 years.
What brand mousse did you use? Love the wavy look😍💖
I use the Mielle organics Brazilian curly mousse for dry and curly hair.
@BeautyIsWhatIDo2.0 I was curious because I noticed your hair didn't revert. Thank you for responding. 💖
Please tell me the name of the color used
Hey Sis! Do you mean the color of my hair?
@BeautyIsWhatIDo2.0 . Yes, please. Sorry
@@crystalmitchell160 My stylist came up with the color. I did reference her in the video if you are in the Atlanta area.
You make me want to wear my hair out, instead of these protective styles. Loved the video Darlene!

It’s beautiful. I use Donna but my views are the same.♥️
Yeah...I will give a few of the other products a try cause I just want something to work for home!

Wow…one month? I would go crazy. I wash my hair twice a week and one day I leave a mask the whole day. Then I rinse it out and blow dry.
wrapping the hair I did it but I’ll keep trying but you did it and the hair look fanstastic. Something different.
I know, it can be a challenge to find time for it because it takes me so long. I am definitely gonna try to do better🤞🏾
Not coordinate❤️❤️❤️. Hair is beautiful
Only the OG's know that😂
