Blending Chalk Mineral Paint for a Fabulous Furniture Makeover

- Todays video is a chalk paint furniture makeover! I'm using Dixie Belle's Chalk mineral paint to give this worn out dresser a beautiful new finish. This is truly a trash to treasure makeover. There were so many repairs that needed to fixed and even the top needed to be refinished. I ended up blending the chalk paint to bring the piece back to life!

The dark added over the finished bottom colors just made the “stormy sunset” appear. Then the metallic wax with the final coat being copper just was WOW. I’ve always loved the idea of doing art with furniture but this takes me in a whole different direction. Thank you for that!! This is simply gorgeous. ✌🏻🤍

How do you treat the inside edges of the drawers
I thought you were literally blending the paints. Question... What happens if we blend the chalk with the mineral? I have the paints but can't figure out if I can blend them to tweak the color. Can you ? 🙏. I love mixing colors.
Is the staining pads reusable if so how do you clean them?
They are not reusable if you are using oil based stain. I can get a few projects out of it if I am using the same stain by storing the pad in a plastic bag.
I agree, the gold was too bright
