By 'their' you're referring to almost all volume manufacturers of cars, and yes you are indeed correct, it's sad.
If the next gen gt3 is a turbo then it is impossible to buy a new 911 without a turbo. That would be a shame. I get that they are pressured to keep the pollution low, but at least keep ONE car without a turbo.
Andreas Preuninger is a freaking genius, a purist of Porsche, he can basically do whatever he wants, i'm fine. Loved to see those two huge guys in that tiny car
you have to tip your hat to Porsche, they can build a car on an old chassis with an old engine with no roof no air conditioning and with stereo using components from older cars, and will have sold out of every unit before they even go on sale. and will have people fighting for them no matter the cost. what a business model I hope they build this she's a beauty

I 've noticed you drove behind the Singer DLS at some point. I would LOVE to hear what Andreas has to say about Singer and about that car in particular. Seeing the DLS wearing that 70th Anniversary livery, I guess the people at Porsche are now more fond of Singer than they apparently were when they came into the spotlight.
This crazy German kind of Dr. Emmett Brown gentleman is really really cool. Always a pleasure listen to what he has to say!

This is only carfection plus. This is some of my favourite stuff. Absolutely love speedsters, best looking roofless cars. If only they sold it, I had enough money to buy it and it came with a fabric roof like the old boxster speedster did. A lot of if only baloney but I can dream.
I think this car looks great, nailed everything but....the shiftknob! A focal point of the interior should have something special, along with the steering wheel, IMHO.

What I wouldn't give to spend a day with Andreas at the Porsche GT factory...would just be an incredibly experience and impossible to soak up so much knowledge.

This speedster looks like an incredible car. Really hope it goes into production as close to the ways in which this concept model is currently constituted; with 21 inch front/rear wheels, etc.
And I really hope Porsche produces far more of these cars than they did of the 911R. As in, I hope they produce tens of thousands of these cars.
In today's hi-tech nanny state, the motoring world desperately needs an amazing analog driver's car by which to be excited and inspired.
C'mon, Porsche, go all in on this one. Your company will be glad that it did.

I've been waiting for this car for a long time (on my 5th Porsche now), but when I heard not once, but twice "It's a 911R with no roof" my heart sank, because that means when they bring this to market it will be upwards of $ 300K in price (USD). And that's too bad - the original Speedster was a car brought in at a lesser price than the full-dressed Cabriolet. Porsche now goes the opposite direction.
A 911R without a roof is a blue-chip investment. This will be even rarer than a 911R so this is a collectors item.

Nature of Universe and nature of yourself is the very same thing, it is pure consciousness. So, you can have whatever you want if you claim it. Claim it by assuming the feeling you would feel if this car would be yours now. This way, you are setting vibration of your being and body which will push you to act toward the car as you matched the frequency of the object. Once you understand how this life works, then you can have whatever you want.

Interesting to me how he states the Porsche Speedster came from racing and not a single mention of Max Hoffman and the single reason why Porsche even made a Speedster exists. The modern day Porsche customer may not want to know this but the Speedster model was the cheap version and to keep the sticker price low the fan belt was even sold as an option.

People with too much money, who are usually customers of other supercars for several hundredthousands of Dollars. Cars for 500.000 Dollars and more is no market for Porsche... besides Porsches own hypercar projects like the 918 Spyder.
Porsche sells so many cars, that they really shit on "Singer"..., who are just doing their own thing. Why should Porsche have thoughts on such a mini "garage tuner" like Singer...? Singer is such a small garage company, who are just "riding the wave of old aircooled 911s"... and who are totally "under the RADAR" of Porsche, because Singer's tiny number of cars is completely ridiculous and not worth for "thinking" of at Porsche!
Even their name is completely retarded, because they just use the name of Norbert Singer, the Porsche racecar designer legend from the 70's and 80's.
