The current greenkeeping trend to NOT deep rake the bunkers and just give it a cosmetic surface rake (time/money saving and bloody laziness) has left bunkers very firm almost all year round (as it rains all year round now), I have just ditched my Vokey 60° with 12° bounce for the newT Grind with 4° bounce, and just like the 'good ole days' it is brilliant.
As long as they hit straight off the tee they are fine if you look at speed/spin tests. Yeah they lose forgivness off the tee but every swing speed gains spin around the green with a premium ball like a prov1x or prov1
LAB is not a toe up putter and the toe up condition balancing on your finger is not why it works. It's literally in the name. The putter is balanced when set in its lie angle (putting position). This means that when addressing the ball there is no torque acting to rotate the club. The toe up condition when balancing on your finger is a byproduct. Odyssey make a toe up putter but it is not the same as a LAB putter. You're doing LAB a disservice as your explanation would make people think other toe up putters would do the same job for a cheaper price.
@@chris__white93 Neither! It's a cool concept but perhaps not built for purpose if you like to play whatever the weather. It's ideal for fair weather players... thanks for watching!
Love the 2 ball strategy and gonna take that- need to see more of those 1 day challenges as really enjoyed the last one you did
Been using Golf Shot for years, the new swing ID feature is really good at showing how bad my swing is

Are you a pro fitter? Because a close friend of mine is a master club fitter and he said this is definitely misinformation
I got thicker grips on some custom clubs. Was horrible, couldn't feel the head. Get measured for grips ping have one.
They're certainly not for everyone, but there seems to be a trend towards having thicker grips - especially at the top level.
@@GolfMonthly yeah that's true. For me as they were thicker I was gripping down alot and making the club shorter. But alot people seem to like them.
@@GolfMonthly It's only a trend if Golf content providers push it. Seems to be the rage now with some of the big names on UA-cam.

Fair point - hopefully people got the gist with the explanation. Thanks for watching
@@GolfMonthly I like the tip of a 'wind ball' and interested in the app that does tempo and path but fair representation is also important.
400 quid for a bag that’s not even waterproof… you’d literally have to have more money than sense!
Or live in a country where it doesn’t rain much. I’ve never played golf in the rain.
@@Gnew2082 he lives in the uk, it rains every day even in some
Either more money than sense, or being paid to promote a product lmao. I think we both know which is the case here!

its the Indian not the arrow.. don't fall for the LAB marketing stuff. Only thing that will truly help is, guess what......PRACTICE
You do realize there are different types of arrows for different archers?
