- Learn how to count to from 11 to 99 in Mandarin Chinese.
In our Beginner Chinese lesson #3 we taught how to count from 0 to 10. This lesson does a quick review of the numbers from 1 to 10, then teaches you how to count from 11 to 99.
After this lesson you'll know the numbers you need to use on a daily basis for telling the time and talking about days/months during the year. Our next lessons will cover those topics (time and dates), and in a future lesson will cover counting from 100 on.

Initially arriving at this lesson, I just assumed it would be incredibly overwhelming learning to go beyond 11-99. But I’m glad I devoted extra time to previous lesson learning 1-10 because you are absolutely correct; numbers 11-99 are a breeze. The logical layout of your lessons really help for those of us whose this is our first exposure to tonal language.
