There's a fascinating story behind the art. It was all drawn by a talented artist living in Kyiv, Ukraine. He created all these cards in the middle of a warzone.

I like the theme of Scare BnB, but is there any skill involved? It seem like you can't make meaningful decisions. Either you:
A) pick cards randomly, or
B) your opponents don't shuffle properly (so you know where the lock is) so you pick cards randomly, except the lock card.

No doubt there's a lot of randomness involved. The experience really hinges on that tease of where the key might be. But the cards should never leave the table, hence the shell game comparison.
I'll also ask the developers to chime in here!

We aimed to design the game to be simple enough for young kids to win with luck, but also offers an advantage to those who excel at bluffing and reading people.
As for the unexplored cards on the table, the decision to lift them off is entirely up to the players.
