Why did they not, just use a laminated board as empire builders did, and everybody can build on the main board. Than have a separate sheet for the engine and other info. Trying to look at main board than back to my board lost me. Even the mts. can be added at the start of all games. Just include the colored crayons for all players and the mts.. Just make the main board larger so multiple lines can be drawn between same points.
Don't worry about the goof with the ink on your board. You're still the coolest board game geek on the world ;)
The art style reminds me of Great Western Trail. Maybe this could be added to replace the railroad in that game for some kind of super-complicated ridiculous hybrid game.

The squares you fill in on the board remind me of one of those civilization/age progression games you played with paper for the tech tree and a peg board for resources... I just don't remember what that one is called. :/

It's hard to tell dice size from the video, they look small. Rahdo, how well do these trays work for dice rolling in general? Are standard sized dice ok, or will they roll over the lip? They are a very cool dice tray, and a very good price if they can accomodate most games.

the prototype dice are 'standard size'. you have to roll kind of gentle or they can go over the lip.

Hey Rahdo! Maybe it's just my computer, but the sound mis-matches with the video around 6:50. I skipped forward, refreshed, restarted the video, all that good stuff and it was still off. So maybe it's not just me? Thanks.
wow you're right, it's off for me too. that's really weird, i know for a fact that used to be fine, i haven't chagned it at all. hopefully it's a weird temporary glitch

I watched the video on MAR 29th for the first time and the audio was fine. A week ago, when I wanted to relive that memorable scene at around the 7 minute mark (;-)), the sound was suddenly off and still is. Don't know what happened, but it happened during that month :o

it's fixed now! i went into the youtube editor and saw an option to 'revert to original', used it, and now my embarrassing faux pas plays as it was meant to. not sure what brought this on, but all clear now, thanks for the heads up everybody :)

That's why I like using pencil...
You could maybe try a bit of rubbing alcohol. It's just a prototype but that might take it off if you really wanted to.
