Coming from the late 50's/ early 60's era I know what you mean. I love everything these dreamy ladies sing. I like this video because the lovely Jeanne Crain (famous movie star I watched in old westerns) just matches up so well with is dreamy song. It just takes my breath away. only one problem, it is too darn short. As soon as I pop the cap on my beer and recline in a darkend room, it is over.
@@SirBasildeBrush Hi Sir, hope all is well with you and yours. Just checking to see if you have released any of your gems lately. obviously you have gotten my attention with past releases.

I think that scene is from 1945's "Leave her to Heaven" with Gene Tierney and that's Jeanne Crain, on the porch. If you've never seen that movie, you must. It's SO great.
This has to be the most beautiful love song I've ever heard! When I first heard it on an oldies radio program it stopped me dead in my tracks. It really pulls at your heartstrings.

My God is that song beautiful!!! That song was created for women who loved being women back in my day. I cannot think of a more beautiful video to go with the Paris Sisters song, 'I Love How You Love Me'. The video is a scene from a 1940's Major motion picture. I do not know the name of the film, and certainly do not know the actress name. The actress looks like a young Heddi Lamar, but I know it's not Heddi. I just can't place her. Folks . . this song, this movie scene is from an era in America that is 'Gone With The Wind'. I miss the America that I grew up in the 1960's; more over I miss Women's attitude towards Men in the 1940s. Women LOVED MEN back in that era!! SirBasilDEBUSH . . .thanks for this AWESOME VIDEO!! YOU NAILED IT MAAN!!
Who decided to hook up Jeanne Crain with this amazing, romantic song from early 60's. what vision. They could not have picked a better more sensual Woman. I used to listen to the Paris Sisters sing this song several times a month but when I discovered this Gem, I am here most every day. This old school actress has captured my fascination and literally mesmerizes me.
Thanks for the compliments George - and delighted to read you're still coming back regularly to enjoy this one. Turning out to be one of my most popular postings.
I was stationed in Japan a few months back in 1967. The Paris Sisters performed at the Airman's Club at Yokota Air Base. They were terrific and we got 3 or more encores of that song... so beautiful!
Sometimes it's better not to listen to this super romantic song because if we fall in love with even only the voice and pics.and cannot dream to be in reality,it can be fairy heartbreaking feeling.

I’m an octogenarian. I found my love in this era. Married over half a century. Reared five children. Have 11 grandchildren with more on the way and one great grandchild with more on the way. I look like I’m 60yo feel like I’m 40yo. She looks 50yo acts and feel like shes 30yo. I’d rather be lucky than rich. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be both and was an adult during these wonderful years, to love the music from those years and have prodigy to love it also. I learned to find something to put a smile on my face early in the morning so I could be happy the rest of the day. Work hard, work smart and you’ll create your own good luck. Plan your work then work your plan. Good follows good nutrition and good exercise. Health, wealth and happiness. Listen to good music from this era and be HAPPY!
Thanks for the thoughtful comment. I was born in the sixties so never had first-hand experience of this great music, so nice to hear from someone who did.
Obsessed: "According to Lester Sill, with whom Phil Spector was then staying, Spector would bring the tapes for "I Love How You Love Me" from Gold Star Studios every evening to review in his room: "he would wake me up at three or four in the morning, listening to [the song] over and over again at a very low level." Sill says Spector "must have remixed the strings on that song thirty times; then listened to it for another four or five days before he was sure it was right. Then finally when the record was pressed he listened to the pressing for another two or three days before he gave it an approval."
Forever one of my all time favourites! Ever! It's sooo dreamy! They also made a faster version of this with a slightly different string arrangement during the "talking" bit of the song.
Quite a lot of people's favourite, I think. The spoken part gets a little lost in this stereo version, but only at the expense of those wonderful soaring strings.
