Welcome to SirBasildeBrush! Here you'll find music I love from the late fifties and early sixties. Nearly all the music is from my personal collection, amassed since childhood. There are some well-known songs and instrumentals, but many more that are not so well known (but just as good). There are beautiful ballads, teeners, popcorn, R&B, uptempo doo-wop, crossover country, early soul - all helped along by plenty of instrumentals. Thanks for dropping by.

Who would have thought that Hank Price III would grow up to be opera tenor Henry Price! What a story. Writing a screenplay.

Thanks. Can't go wrong with Mary Poppins. Btw, Robie Lester did lots of work for Disney (eg. the singing voice for Duchess in The Aristocats)

I’m an octogenarian. I found my love in this era. Married over half a century. Reared five children. Have 11 grandchildren with more on the way and one great grandchild with more on the way. I look like I’m 60yo feel like I’m 40yo. She looks 50yo acts and feel like shes 30yo. I’d rather be lucky than rich. Fortunately, I was lucky enough to be both and was an adult during these wonderful years, to love the music from those years and have prodigy to love it also. I learned to find something to put a smile on my face early in the morning so I could be happy the rest of the day. Work hard, work smart and you’ll create your own good luck.
