From what I can tell, the Pro Shield (through-door) anti-pry guards are designed and marketed as an alternative to the mini door Shield (caps) to hold the door edge together. The caps are not designed to be used with the anti pry protection...for the reasons you discovered in your video. Use one or the other. Keep up the good work!

Yes, the manufacturer made it clear. Here's some insight on people who buy these products.
