For doing almost 30 over the speed limit and then he claims he is going to court in Colorado and doesn't even know what state he is in? Letting him off would just be lazy and maybe if he wouldn't break the law he wouldn't have so much to deal with.

According to the DOT, 12 out of 47,296 runaway truck ramps nationwide have been used from 2010-2018. So I’d say his odds are extremely good that nothing is going to happen. And all but two occurred in Appalachia.

Given that this was a huge interstate surrounded by desert for hundreds of miles, 87mph is not too fast.

Well, weed is illegal in Utah and federally so it doesn’t matter if he did have a card. Maybe the cop would have let it slide but he’s being filmed. He could lose his job for not following the law and letting some slide.
