Used to seeing houses burnt beyond saving. Well done to this Brigade for their skill, knew what was wanted, got on and did the job, not afraid to use the water from the appliance. Once again well done.
For what? Show? What in the world do you need a useless ladder at a typical residential fire? And don't say the useless and destructive tactic of Vertical Venting.
Due to low staffing the Ladders are only used on high-rise and commercials. For a residential structure ladder only responds when they know they'll need it.
@JB91710 having ladder trucks strategically placed throughout a city and having a ladder truck on first alarm responses lowers ISO ratings. Also having extra ground ladders is never a bad thing. My department is an ISO 1 rated department. All first alarm fires get 4 apparatus, a truck company, a rescue company, an engine, and the 4th can be any of the 3 above along with a battalion chief. Also vertical vent isn't necessarily worthless. It defiantly has its time and place, albeit not very often is it necessary.
nice to see a well trained department at work. not a lot of standing around, guys moving with pep in their step, quick attack, quick knock down.

They’re only used for Commercial Buildings or High-Rises. They’re only at Residential Box Alarms if they’re requested.
