Shitty thing to happen to a filter.had the same issue.took a sharp wood chissle and hammer and was able to dig into the top of the oil filter.once the filter started turning then it was easy the rest of the way.
Reccomend doing your own oil change,that way its not wrench tight ,just hand tight.plus you save money
