    This should be the first video every beginner watches when learning how to EQ properly. How come nobody explained Equing this way? It would save a lot of people a lot of time! Grey Goose shots for that one man!

    Man you're really good at explaining things simply and efficiently. Your way of giving an example we can hear one or two times allows full understanding of what we must do, but also why. You're not rushing this and take the time to explain, that's not always the case. Thanks a lot for sharing what you know.

      Very welcome. There's nothing special about it. Actually it's quite limited compared to others. I just use it to show that it's not the plugins it's how well you understand and learn them.

    I have been so lost trying to figure out the best way to eq and mix my beats. This is the best video I have found on the topic so far. If anyone doesn’t mind could you recommend any other channels that are similar to this one. I really want to understand mixing.

    Is there a visual EQ plugin for the MPC Hardware. Along the lines of Fruity Parametic EQ (for FL) or other Visual EQs? I feel like there should be, but I can’t find it on my MPC

      Thanks. Loops are a part of beat making as well. And some do not know how to work with them. It's just a awesome to see someone teach how to work with a loop. It may not benefit you but always remember its FREE INFO. So just that deserves respect. 💯

    Hey man, love the tutorial! I've got a quick question, I have installed the equality plugin to my PC as per instructions on their website but can't find it on my MPC beats. Can you help a brother out. Appreiciate your reply king! 👑

      I would love to but I dont know your computer or what you have on it that could be stopping it. All I know is it installs like any other plugin. There is no trick or anything. Its just like every other plugin.

      That is why I made this video. Its is not what you use or where you use it. It is understanding what an EQ does that is what will help you anywhere you are using it.

    can't get equality to work in mpc beats... just dragging download file into my vst folder and clicking extract here.. not sure what i'm doing wrong 😥

    I appreciate the effort you put into sharing knowledge. You might want to approach Groove3 or better yet, MASTERCLASS on creating a Production to Mixing class like Timbaland did. Your content is on a level by itself...NO CAP!

      Standalone doesn't use 3rd party plugins. You must use the software.

      @@DaDrankKang even software MPC - I looking where are plugins like SOLINA, MELLOTRON, BASSLINE etc.
      Maybe is that because I have only demo Mode? But In Reason 11 normally can use this, in Ableton only Youlean 2.
      Crazy!
      So, day after day I make beats on my Akai mpc LIVE 2, DT 770, so... One keyboard YAMAHA, In my country is a lot. I feel good, I day after day get understand more I more, I know what I can. And I do even good stuff, but I must Learn fucking marketing.
      I nearby 40 years ago over here, but in this year I say NO, STOP! I CAN MAKE MONEY FROM THINGS Which I LOVE and make everyday, why I don't learn how to make the work and in peace with news plugins and something good make my news beats and money in one.
      Fanbase? I must think how to sell it, beatstars - I have no will for this application, I don't know why ?

    Yo I’m new to producing and just bought this EQ to use within MPC 1.9....but the EQ isn’t picking up any signal? Any idea why?

      Press the analyzer button in the top right corner to see the frequency information

      For example I load my drum track, then insert EQuality, and open it, and there is no signal through EQuality

      @@user-ij2uq9vg7m if you are using the mpc software you dont need to route anything anywhere. I would check the settings of the EQ.

    Hey bro...when you stem the beat out for mixing in another Daw, do you keep the EQing you did in the MPC software or do you stem it out dry and do it all over again??

      Naw when you bounce the stems out it’s gonna take whatever you’ve done to it with it as well, so yes the eq’n will carry over
