The slide lock and how to remove it: Quick Trombone Tip

A good way to remove your slide lock so you can clean it. I've only EVER cleaned my slide lock a few times on any horn. It isn't a typical maintenance item but once in a while, you may find it advantageous to put some wax on the threads so it won't shake loose and rattle while you play.
