    Regarding power factor I have a question. How can we say that reactive power is sent back to source and true power is from source to load such that power flow in both the directions in same wire.is it possible

    Generally Domestic houses have no much inductive load but if capacitor is used efficiency of electrical equipment will be improved but that capacitor will also consum some resister electricity and overall electricity bill will be same and no less biiling possible

    Sir I have a doubt! We use apfc panel in industry for improve power factory.i show this system take high amount current as per how many numbers of capacitor are use in panel.so my question is this high amount of current also affect in our kWh also in electric bill....thanks .

    Sir Mera Ghar Mostly Band rehta hai. Inverter se Battery Charge hota rehta hai aur Stabilizer laga hua h inverter me.
    Week me 1 din jate hain to Submersible Pump chalta hai aur 4-5 Led Bulb aur 1-2 Fan....
    Mera Smart Meter ka KWh divided by KVAh karne par Power Factor 0.44 aara hai. Kya karan hai. Aur Solution kya hai? 3KW ka connection h mera

    As long as your meter does not record OVA,YOU need not use capacitor. Capacitor is good only when you have inductive load like high up motors.Only a few fans will not make any difference.

      जब किसी कंपनी द्वारा ट्रांसफार्मर को बनाया जाता है तो उन्हें नहीं पता होता कि इस ट्रांसफार्मर पर किस प्रकार का लोड लगाया जाएगा .क्योंकि सभी लोड का पावर फैक्टर अलग-अलग होता है. उन्हें सिर्फ ट्रांसफार्मर की आउटपुट वोल्टेज और करंट का पता होता है. इसीलिए ट्रांसफार्मर की पावर रेटिंग KVA में बताई जाती है.
      अतः ट्रांसफार्मर को सभी प्रकार के पॉवर फैक्टर वाले लोड को चलने के लिए बनाया जाता है। अतः यही कारण है कि ट्रांसफार्मर का पॉवर apparent power होता है यह इसकी रेटिंग kVA में होती है। और kVA में पॉवर फैक्टर नहीं होता है।
      “चुकी मोटर एक लोड है जो सप्लाई से पावर कंज्यूम करता है जबकि ट्रांसफार्मर कोई लोड नहीं है वह सिर्फ इलेक्ट्रिक पावर को एक स्थान से दूसरे स्थान तक पहुंचाता है। प्रत्येक लोड का पावर फैक्टर अलग-अलग होने के कारण सभी प्रकार के लोड को चलाने के लिए ट्रांसफार्मर को kVA रेटिंग पर डिजाइन किया जाता है। जबकि लोड को kW रेटिंग पर डिजाइन किया जाता है क्योंकि प्रत्येक लोड का एक पावर फैक्टर होता है और kW रेटिंग में पावर फैक्टर मौजूद रहता है। ”

    LOL... 7.56, there is cos@ equally with i, not in inversely proportional so how can u measured it inversely when cos @ increase than value of i also increase which is active power, v measure as reactive power..
    Capacitor can improve power factor bt there is need a huge cap. Or power bank which is also increase overall cost of system equally our bills or may more than i*i*r... Power factor should be below 1..bills depend on total loss i2r
