Wow...great fish Ryan...i heard you praising the line thru rattle trout...i have one and haven't tried it yet. The Roach look excellent too and i love they go deeper.
Great video Ryan, how do you judge the depth of the lure when trolling? is it a combination of the speed of the boat and the weight of the lure? keep the great videos coming!
Hey Derek. It's more a matter of knowledge of how deep your lure will go. If it starts hitting the bottom at 12 ft you have your answer simple as that. So you get a great idea over time
Great video Ryan serious fish!. What strength wire trace do you use fishing the 32cm line thru roach? I bought the chub coloured one so can’t wait to give it a run!
@@kieran3237 hi Kieran have tried it once the other day got a pike of about 75cm on what was a very slow day. Def buy one I’d say will be a brilliant lure the smaller ones are superb too don’t overlook them either.
@@williamdaly7662 thanks william...i am having great luck at moment with the lemon colour line thru trout and roach 32cm..great for big pike...sound, i think I'll get the chub colour roach for a change. Thanks a million for reply William, tight lines pal.
Cracker fish, just wondering what is that link set up you have about 18 inches from lure? I thought it was some sort of trolling lead at first glance!?
Hey good spotting. Its actually the mount for the water wolf. I didn't take it off as I didn't bring it with me that day. Would have been great to get it on that

Massive! I seem to get more hits using my massive lures?!! Will be buying some more 😎🎣🎣🎣
Sometimes the bigger pike will move for a better meal (higher reward) where other days you need to scale down. 2 days are never the same
Awesome fish! did you weigh it? would have been great to see that take on the waterwolf!
Would have loved to see it on the water wolf! dont know the weight sorry
Do you re rig the line thrus Ryan?
No need with the 4d ones. After a while you may but not straight away
