I have just started my journey. my grandfather a mason, my wife's grandfather a past master. your videos are PERFECT! I love how you're protecting the leafs yet filling in the tree. well done. EAM Ben PS. March 1st 2017 I start 2nd.
I have been hanging around my local lodge and want to petition in the future. My question is that this lodge (blue lodge) only goes into the 3rd degree masonry but i have seen other videos claiming that it goes all the way up to 33 degrees. how do you achieve that?
The "blue lodge" or "symbolic lodge" only has 3 degrees, the Entered Apprentice, the Fellow Craft, and the Master Mason - as there were in the stone mason guilds. From there other organizations based in Freemasonry teach additional lessons or degrees with different specialties, if you will. The 33rd degree you mention is a part of the Scottish Rite. To achieve that you would first have to be a Master Mason. Then you can petition your local Scottish Rite Valley to join. If accepted you'll then go through the 4th through 32nd degree. If you distinguish yourself over a period of time you might be honored with the rank of KCCH (Knight Commander of the Court of Honour). Then, eventually, you might be invited to receive the 33rd Degree, or Inspector General Honorary. Not everybody gets it. It is honorary for 2 reasons - you have to be invited, and because there is only 1 Inspector General, the person at the head of the Supreme Council.
What is a Mason ...I will have that honor soon enough brethren and you will be blessed for spreading conditional light as much as you possibly could without giving up any thing more that should by all means be saved for the actual ritual thank you “brother “. -GODS PROmISe 👁💡🤝
Hi whats a mason im a newly elected incoming mason of the NJ Grand Jurisdiction i was wondering what tips you can give me to get accustomed to my new lifestyle and anything i can do to make a great first impression when im inducted
Very interesting channel. I have a few questions for you. A lot of things you say make me think that there is a clear teacher-student relation in masonry. How do you look upon someone that doesn't just accept anything that's being said to him? Can you question any of the lessons you get as a mason? If so, what does it look like? Another question. Am I a right candidate to become a mason? I do believe in God but not in a specific one. I also find a concept of religious rituals "weird" and don't believe that God cares about it at all. My believes come down to: Do good and God will be happy. I presume this would be an issue if I decided to become a mason.
Good Q's. I would be saddened if I went to teach someone and they never asked me questions like "Why", "How come", etc. It's all part of the learning process. You may, or may not, be a good fit in Freemasonry. On one hand you do only have to believe in a God, not a particular one, but many of the lessons and ceremonies or rituals are derived from the Christian Holy Bible. As such you might struggle to ignore the forest and focus on the tree - that is, to ignore that the story, if you like, came from a religious text, but that the moral lessons being taught are all encompassing.
I know its more then likely incorrect but ive been hearing things about nudity in initiation im currently waiting for my vote and investigations right now and was curious can you shed light on whether this is a falsity. I have felt ashamed to ask the brothers of the lodge about it.
The least you'll ever be clothed in a real Masonic Lodge is, for lack of a better term, long shorts. No, there is no nudity in any way, shape, or form in any of the degrees in Freemasonry. I do stipulation a "real" Masonic lodge, because there are hundreds, if not thousands, of fake ones out there, and I can't say what might take place in those.
We took a big family vacation between Christmas and New Years and since being back I had some health issues, and work has been very busy, but I am back up on my feet again now and just have to get back into the routine of things. Thanks for asking!
Some folks can learn the lessons in 3 months. Some jurisdictions require you stay as an Entered Apprentice for a certain length of time before you can advance, so it takes longer. Others have difficulty learning the lessons and take years.
Only a true relationship with Jesus can save you from eternal damnation, no matter what good thing anyone does. There’s too much sin in freemasonry you can’t be a Freemason and a follower of the Lord at the same time.

Study hard, take it seriously when it is appropriate and have a lot of fun the rest of the time!
Master mason what is your opinion about the Grand Orient lodge?
I don't know enough about it to have one. Do you have a more specific question?
Grand Orient lodge de France recognizes lodges
Such as George Washington Union
What is the general attitude towards them in USA?
You are well above my knowledge. I've never heard of the George Washington Union.

Thanks for clarifying this, ive checked with the grand lodge and this is a proper blue lodge
are you doing any other dagree videos or is have I missed them? thanks again B

Ya man.. hope you feel better.. I'll keep my eyes open. thanx
Quite honestly, I have no idea what you are referring to!
My word. I have nothing. No clue what to say!!!
And what of the working tools ?
Working tools would be in the lecture.
Does it take months or years to attend to Master Mason? how long does it take?
Some folks can learn the lessons in 3 months. Some jurisdictions require you stay as an Entered Apprentice for a certain length of time before you can advance, so it takes longer. Others have difficulty learning the lessons and take years.
Hah, very well danced around
Ya I was wondering how he was going to do it. This is my fav part of all the degrees, and it only works when the person doesn't know what is going on.
I did my best!
Agreed. Not only can I not say more than I did, but saying more would ruin the lesson being taught.
Who does Freemasons worship as God ? Do you seek love or light?
Freemasons are of many different religions.
Ok. Man is not God. Well i guess you believe in evolution then and there is proof of that. As for me i believe in Yahweh is God the creator of all.
What is a Mason Is the big G in the middle of the compass and square stand for God or geometry or something else?
OK i hear you. Thanks
Yahweh is Hebrew name of God. Google it for more info.
Jake Smith Np. Never stop learning man. That's why i am here on UA-cam to learn all i can.
why can't a convicted felon be a free mason
We have all means to provide for everyone,Masons should stop this created chaos and teach humans to be better humans
There is no "created chaos". The world has put itself into chaos. Freemasonry tries to untangle that in local communities, but on a global scale.
