Welcome back to my UA-cam teaching channel! In today's vlog, I'm going to share with you an adventure! I decided to apply to be a contestant for the Wheel of Fortune game show on February 8th, and was scheduled an audition on Valentine's Day. My dream is to be on season 41 and meet Pat Sajak and Vanna White before we hear they retire! They have been hosting since before I was born. I a pretty sure I was solving Wheel of Fortune puzzles and Bonus Rounds since was in the womb.
I share with you the details of how I felt how I feel I did, and what I can expect next. Was I nervous? YES! Was it fun and easygoing? YES. The contestant producer was awesome.
My name is Alexa Borota and I am a High School English teacher; I also taught middle school English Language Arts. I am also a mom, grad student, advocate for healthy lifestyle, and content creator. My goals are to share tips for teachers and healthy living. Teaching is less stressful when we are supporting each other and sharing' our best practices. When I was a new teacher, I wanted to know how other teachers were delivering lessons and what their classroom management routines were. I hope my content is helpful for both new and seasoned teachers.

Thanks so much for sharing your audition experience with us, Alexa - I think you're feeling the same way I'm feeling after I had mine just a couple weeks before yours. I felt like I could've handled the question of telling them about myself without mentioning the show a little better, and that's what I plan on doing next time if I'm lucky enough to land another audition.
