I wonder if Jon thought for a second, “holy s*@t! I just killed that dragon by yelling at it”?
a true Dovahkiin
"I came back from the dead. I charged alone against Ramsay. I yelled at an undead dragon and it exploded. Maybe I should go by myself against the Golden Company."
Knowing his track record, this dude would probably charge off a cliff if Cersei was at the bottom.
Turns out he wasn't Azor Ahai. He was actually Ulfric Stormcloak this whole time
FUS RO DAH
He was like oh shit I got Conquerors Haki!!!
Bran telling Theon that he was a good man reminded me of Ragnar telling Floki "I love you". It was the only thing in the world they wanted to hear
true
Who is Floki??
@@ahyaahya2447 Watch Vikings. its a great show.
@@bigchief70 ohh i see..next time sir...heheehe
Theon's death really got me. I never believed he deserved all that torture and I always recognized Alfie Allen as a fantastic actor but I just didn't care too much about Theon. But his journey is so touching and the last couple of seasons I've been really pulling for him. His death and Jorah's death really got me. Two episode one characters. Jorah was be Daenerys through it all, before she became the Daenerys she is today. It really hurts man. Great reaction as always, I love how emotional you get.
BRIA this was so painful I agree. Jorah witnessed Drogos birth, while Drogo was as devastated and trying to console Dany as he watched Jorah’s death. This was so heart breaking. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to watch that scene without tears in my eyes.
@@katkatattack7787 i am sad.so sad..crying....
They both went out true heroes. Theon was a lost soul for a while but ended up coming full circle as he died protecting his home and his family whist Jorah died protecting the woman he loved and took his final breaths in her arms. I think that's how he would have wanted it. Both deaths were heartbreaking.
"Theon...You're a good man." That shit broke me man..Such a huge character arc and best death on GOT so far IMO, who would have ever expected being taken out by the Night King in person for Theon...It's a pretty big thing in itself he's the only one that we've seen die at the hands of the night King
Don't forget the Three Eyed Raven.
Night King sliced him up.
And Viserion
@@TalkingThrones True i'm sorry I forgot about him
And can we take a moment to appreciate the music in this episode? MASTERPIECE.
1 of the few good things about it
The score was much better than the writing for sure
Outstanding, especially the piece at the end!
@@sherryb6351 true
@@sherryb6351 the best episode after all
It goes without saying I cried a lot in this episode for the deaths, but one of the most emotional scenes was when Hound snapped out of it for the sake of Arya. That says so much about how much she means to him. His fear just went away as soon as he saw she was in danger. After everything that happened between them he would still die for her.
Because he saw her in the flames problaby.
KatKat Attack I absolutely adore the Hound and his love for both the Stark girls. His want to just protect them both is just so genuine and lovely.
At first I was a little disappointed in their reunion in episode 801 as it was the reunion I was anticipating the most but, after thinking about it, it would have been out of character for either of them to have shown any attachment to the other. They clearly both care for each other and they show it with their actions. Arya took down a wight with an arrow as it was right behind The Hound and, as you said, he put his fear aside and went to fight for her, again. Also, he's the one who taught her where the heart is and that's where she stabbed the Night King.
The Night King's theme. Ramin Djawadi is an amazing composer. Just wow.
Indeed
First off let me say THANK YOU for not cutting out Bran calling Winterfell Theon's home and also telling him that he was a good man! It was so important for Theon's story to hear those things :( Also love the scene of Tyrion kissing Sansa's hand in the crypt. Idk why but that was such a touching scene for me! I hope they can be together.
It is those touching moments that makes this show so great! Amongst all the carnage and violence it is not the strength of the warrior that defines them. But the reasons they wield their swords in the first place. Not for honor...but for love..:.that is the ultimate reason why they stood their ground. The reason they were willing to sacrifice themselves. For the greater good of mankind. If only we in the real world did likewise. We would live in a much better place than we do today.
@@etsnation4961 Beautifully said
I cried so much in this episode but seeing Dany cry over Jorah, it tormented my soul...
I cried before anything even started lol , guess it was nerves . Then I cried some more lol.
I'd hate to see you lose a real family member...
So you cried over someone elses cry but you did not give shit about Jorah sacrificing his life? Typical.
Ditto
There’s nobody else that can love Dany more than Jorah did... honestly, Dany didn’t deserve him, he was so loyal to her and sacrificed for her... but to see that Dany showed hella emotions for his death than for Khal Drogo, his unborn child and Viserion... that’s something tho
"How did you sneak up on me?" Jon Snow to Arya standing in essentially the same spot as the NK. The NK was created by being stabbed under a weirwood tree and he was killed in the same fashion.
Probably was the ONLY way he could be killed and he didn't want Bran to figure that out and tell someone LIKE Jon, with his Valerian steel sword, exactly how to defeat him. I beat just hitting him with the sword would not have been enough either! That's why he could 'smirk' at Dany with her Dragon fire, he knew he could only be killed in the same way in which he was created.
Jorah and Lyanna were the last of the Mormonts too....the death of a good house.
And they both followed their house words. "Here We Stand."
DarkstarGC fuck yeah, loyal and courageous til the very end
I love how lady mormont said 1 soldier from bear island was worth 10 of the best. And both she and Jorah held up to that standard. She single handedly killed a giant and Jorah fought off so many whites to protect Danny. Much more than the average soldier would have been able to.
Lyanna had siblings....
Pontus okay mr. annoying dots, the only two mormonts that mean a damn. Even Jorah last epsiode said she was the future of their house.
ned stark would be so damn proud. paying for her water dance lessons wasn't a waste
Those lessons are the reason to get her going with her body moves, remember? which made her a master with using swords so i wouldn't say it's a waste.
David Puyol exactly what I said... they weren’t a waste.
Bran should have said, Theon... wait ten seconds
Lets not forget the other MVPs of the episode Melisandre, drogon, raegal for lighting up fire so we could see what’s happening.
edd, theon, lady mormont, berric, ser jorah, melisandre....all of them went out 1000% pure hero...that was just heart wrenching! cant wait to see how it all ends even tho i'll be sad that its all over
@Diana Gero Yeah everyone forgets her but your right, she was in the God's Wood with the Iron-born too
Next target: Cersei Lanisster
The Arya callbacks: stick ‘em with the pointy end & Not today...☺️

We’re disappointed because he’s been hyped up for 8 seasons to be sneaked up on by Arya.
@@omar_elattar.6500 I mean it ist was cool but I miss the 1v1 of Aegon and night king
honestly sith... last night at home at 10:09 i fucking screamed at the tv... "SHE'S GONNA CATCH IT"!!!!!!!!!... such a class episode.
The night king died in the same way he was made. At the hand of a “female child”. Arya is like a child of the forest diminutive and stealthy.
I had the same reaction to Arya, my jaw hit the floor!
The Theon scenes killed me 😭
Arya was the only one who could do it, trained assassin ambushed the NK, the idea from Jon, although his plan was to kill him by setting Bran up as bait. This war was just a means to get everyone together to fight for the Throne, hence....Game of Thrones.
The White Walkers and "winter is coming" lore deserved better imho. Sure I can see your point but it feels so underwhelming. Thousands of years of history, the old legend of the White Walkers, ended by some assassin girl 2 years in training.
Actually, 2 yrs our time, but how many Arya's yrs, possibly almost ten, maybe?@@holysecret2
"It's sad cause he never got out of the friend zone did he?" hahahaha
I love how you say “f*ck off” when you get emotional haha like you’re literarily telling your emotions to chill haha 😂
I am a guy living in sweden and going 40 but damn man I feel with ya. Reliving my thoughts and feelings when I saw the episode. How something can unite ppl like this. :)
This episode shows us that Azor Ahai is not just one person, but a collection of people. Most everyone who is left alive should've been dead by this point in the story, but the Lord of Light kept them alive to serve their purpose.
and Arya is lightbringer, the human weapon forged 3 times - Syrio Forel, The Hound and the faceless men
This was a sit at the Edge of your seat episode yelling crying and I did that with Theon dying he came so far.. think some of the actor's came up with their own lines tho lol... great action packed the dragons just beautiful... the NK was like I don't have time for you Jon.. that's when I knew it would be Arya after her talk with Melisandre knew she was gonna do something... loved it she's my favorite as is Tyrion... I gave it a 9
Best episode...
I've already seen the episode like 4 times and watched like 100 reactions what a fucking show
A lot of people thought Cersei would be the real villain of this season and it looks to be true. Their army is seriously depleted but they still have two dragons. And book wise.. the golden company backs Aegon Targaryen... because a lot of them are knights who were exiled because they backed Rhaegar against Robert, so maybe they will switch sides when they find out who Jon is... who knows.
Do they have two dragons? I don’t think we ever saw what happened to Rheagal. I doubt they’d kill it off screen though.
@@JLTS76 in the trailer of the next episode u can see they are both alive
Hector Gonzalez oh, ok i don’t watch the trailers
Daenerys also has the Second Sons left.
Aegon conquered the seven kingdoms just with his dragons, even taking cerceis scorpions into account I think they'll manage.
Lyanna dying...tears. Jorah saving Danni then dying... tears. House Mormont is gone, the North will remember!
i love that whenever you tear up you say “fuck off” lmao
Theon totally got the best death. Bested in one-on-one combat with an Immortal super-human monster created specifically to destroy humanity? Badass.
This dragon fight was insane, I can only imagine how incredible the dance of dragons would've been.
The dagger that was meant to kill bran 9 years ago saves him from death itself. Crazy.
Never seen your vids before but I loved your reactions!!! Lowkey sad bc you don’t react to shows I watch apart from this, but I definitely love the way you think!! Most people don’t appreciate characters like Theon and don’t see why Arya did what she did. I loved that you understand it and appreciate it!!!
Jon's thoughts as the dragon fell "Alright I know Theon's bitch ass didn't kill him.. Who got his ass? That was my kill!"
Melisandre reminded Arya of who she was...like stop running and go do your f*cking thing!
It's very silly how the night king was defeated
@@efancording6363 How can it be silly? I find it ironic tbh, he died at the hands of the least expected...not a Dragon...Jon, the whole army of Dothrakis and Unsullied but at the hands of a young girl.
It reminds me a quote from LOTR:
“Even the smallest person can change the course of the future”. ― J.R.R. Tolkien
@@sv7619 Just because it's the least expected doesn't mean it's the best ending, how did Arya even kill him? He literally had all of his generals watching him, and they have incredible hearing. Poor writing
@@efancording6363 Nah, she did exactly what she was trained to do, become an assassin and end people.
@@elisabeth8207 He had his entire army behind him protecting him, there's no way she could have reached him, the fact she did shows she's a teleporting, invisible, super jumping ninja
They don't need an army to fight Cersei... They have an Arya. lol
"That's sad because he never got out of the friendzone." Lmao
Once the sad music started at the end, I knew it was time to grab the tissues! Amazing episode...and great reaction! ❤❤❤
Thanks for Posting!!! I have a very nice setup and after watching it 3 times, your post is the Most I’ve seen.
Great Job!!!!
Remember when we all hated Theon? What a fucking arc.
Dude you had me literally in tears again I’ve been looking forward to your reaction
I'll never get how you have the presence of mind to keep commenting on particular camera shots and storylines, etc. I lost my shit watching this and I stopped it twice. LOL
Anyway, great reaction, as per. I appreciate your comments and analysis on this stuff, can't wait for the next episode! :D
You called it with the blue eyes remark.
Well played.
The Theon scene... Gosh! It was very similar to the one in which Yara got captured. This time Reek didn't take over and Theon died fighting. Him cowardly jumping in the water instead of trying to save his sister happened because his purpose was to be back at Winterfell, to guard Bran till the end. So deep, man...
This episode broke me. Arya was a damn badass here killing the knight king. Seeing Dani fighting on the battlefield with a sword with Sir Jorah was crazy and when he died her pain ripped right through me especially when Drogon curled around them. Damn this show lol, never fails in the feels. As a side note, Ghost better be out there getting Namiria and her crew for the final battle against Cersi
I wish you had added the scene when Drogon lays down next to crying dany and Jorah dying 💔❤️ I love that small part and also love the beautiful shots of the dragons above the clouds and wow, fucking badass Melisandre was everything. When she speaks high Valyrian gives me goosebumps. I had read somewhere that on the 3rd ep, she’d go out just like she did in the end..
...and So the night king etc is dead, now I’m not so sure about it not having a happy ending! maybe someone actually will end up sitting on the throne! If they don’t burn it all down instead so no one can.
Also, I must be the only one really liking Cersei haha! and don’t wanna see anyone kill her... My guess is that she’ll die from jumping out the highest window in kings landing.
Jamie will prob die in Briennes arms somehow.
Great episode and reaction 💕
Your Arya reaction was EXACTLY like mine. A big "WTF" moment
Bran knew everything. EVERYTHING. He is basically Dr Strange. Cant say if not it wouldnt happen.
Loved your heartfelt reaction, thanks!
“That is so unfair man” lol. Jon failed where Arya succeeded, in sneaking up on the NK.
Hell yeah, great vid. I always dig your reactions
Why isn't anyone mentioning that Jon was shouting "go" when he stood up to the Dragon? He was ready to die so Arya could make it into the Godswood.
A lot of the main characters are going to die in the battle with the Golden Company and fans are not going to be ready for it. This battle gave some hope. I want Gendry to live to bring back House Baratheon.
Completely agree with you. You don't mess with the golden fucking company .
I hope Bronn gets to kill some of the fan-favorites. It would be a hoot.
@@SingWhileYouMay i think Bronn would die with Jamie..could be..hopefully
Lucas B
The Golden Company are not as big of a threat as the Night King and White Walkers. Characters should’ve died especially since they were put in certain death situations.
@@omar_elattar.6500 due to they are not walker,,aren't they??
Lyanna's death really got to me, I wasn't expecting it to be honest. Jorah I was expecting though so I kinda accepted it beforehand. Theon I did expect as well. I did think Jon would die in this episode as well as Jamie or Brienne. The Hound we all knew would survive as Clegane Bowl is still expected. Glad to see I wasn't the only one crushed by the little Bear's death. And Ghost just vanished. He ain't dead, I can't accept that. We would have seen him dying I suppose, if he was. I wonder if Rhaegal survived. I hope so but he did seem in pretty bad shape though. Arya was incredible. INCREDIBLE. I didn't see that coming, I admit. I had considered Jamie killing the Night King as maybe his nickname would be foreshadowing for that...but not Arya. That last shot was so foocking badass that I'm incredibly glad they took that path and did not go for the most obvious one which would have been Dany or Jon. Syrio Forel really was the teacher of all teachers.
It feels good to see you react to the character you love so much get the killing blow.
Lord Commander Mormont: Stood fighting with the nights watch until his last breath
Lady Lyanna Mormont: Stood against a giant to defend the living until her last breath
Sir Jorah Mormont: Stood fighting to defend his queen till his last breath.
The words of House Mormont: Here We Stand
"Every man from Bear Island, fights with the strength of ten mainlanders." I'd say and then some! Badasses. Warriors.
Kelly Marie honestly!!
freagin phenomenal episode! the up's the down's were very emotional haha. Was wondering if you thought of doing any reactions to Zurik23M's new GoT edits at all? I watched a few reactions you did for Vikings while inbetween seasons and well Zurik has been at it again with a few amazing edits for GoT! Would love to see you react to any of them. The feels are 10/10 and ofc Zurik is second to none with these types of edits!
Thank you SiTHFuRion, even though it already happened, it feels like I am watching WITH someone :)
Jon under the tree : How did you sneak up on me?
Arya : How did you survive a knife in the heart?
Jon : I didn't
Bran laid out the plan, the ONLY plan, in that last conference the night before. He knew that the Night King would come for him, personally, and would want/need to do the deed himself. He set himself up as the bait, so that they would have their single chance at him, 'before his army kills us all.' And he spent the whole time 'managing' the battle, and guiding events that would bring Arya and her dagger, the only one with the right skill set to do the job, to the exact place, at the exact time to do the deed. A lot of 'shaping of events' over many episodes, brought to fruition. The previous 3ER had a lot to do with that, and he just barely got the skills into Bran before he himself was killed.
Thank you for mentioning Lady Mormont! I adore her
Great reaction, as always! 😉
“Shield wall” I saw u a little Vikings call back😂
thank you that I could finally see what was going on.Because on my TV it was more or less dark and I had to try to figure what is happening or not.
Apparently, the showrunners knew for the past 3 years that it would be Arya that kills the Night King. It had to be a true Stark like Arya. It was Brandon "The Builder" Stark that killed the last Night King and history always repeats itself in this world. Arya was destined to kill the Night King.
I was on edge that entire episode. Such an emotional rollercoaster. Lovvved your shock reaction to the Arya v NK moment.
Bran gave the dagger to Arya earlier....he knew all along, warging into the crow and going to the Night King face was most likely to bait the NK to him
I loved it ! Wasn't perfect but it was still awesome . Great reaction as always , ready for more 😄
i love your reaction!
I loooove your reactions and I couldn’t find you so I had to look at compilation reactions from TWD just to find your name♥️♥️ I’m subbed now though great reaction fam
You're a very good reactor. (Très spontané). Kiss from France.
Yup, Bran did give Arya the Catspaw Dagger and it was right in that exact spot.
So House Mormont is now extinct a second of silence for the Bears.
Happy that Theon got to redeem himself, but he was not the one to kill the Night King.... Arya was the only one up to the task, imo…. Even Jon would have had a hard time in a one on one sword battle.. Great reaction!!
Heh, yeah, that was really the only way from the beginning. That's why Bran created the plan to lure the Night King out into the godswood.
It had to be Arya with a Valyrian blade to shatter the dragon glass in the NK's heart next to a Weirwood tree with the 3 Eyed Raven close by to make the counter 'creation' spell work. A Luke v Vader sword fight would not work here.
Good point.
Lyanna Mormont - Giantkiller
What a ride man... What a ride.
I feel you man, we all expected a better conclusion to the white walkers, it was a great episode from a production view though just the writing let the show down.
That smile is the greatest moment in GoT history.
Been saying it for years, humans are the real threat in this show. I really enjoyed the episode for what it was, an entertaining 80 mins on a sunday night to take my mind off of real life things I'm dealing with at the moment. But I'm no military, battle, camera, writing, lighting, knight king expert like so many commenters seem to be.
I saw a comment it said "ser jorah mormont he lived as he died...in the friendzone" i laughed for hours at that.great reaction m8.👍from🏴
Thank you for brightening it up. It's literally the first time I could see what was happening.
...exactly: WOW...WOW....WOOW!!
I loved the episode. Many parts broke my heart and had me tearing up (Lyanna, Theon, Jorah) but Arya at the end made me freak out with happiness. That girl is a badass.
i had a feeling it would be her since season 3 when she was told she would shut brown eyes, green, eyes and blue eyes forever
D&D only decided it would be arya during filming for season 7, as she would provide most shock value, yet not be too out of the blue.
I’m disappointed Jon and the night king didn’t go sword to sword. Then when Jon is about to die, Arya gives the final blow.
@@joka619 it was a theory i had back then. i wasn't 100% sure tell she was reminded about blue eyes in this episode
@@joka619 Yeah they said they've known for about 3 years that it was going to be Arya to give the fatal blow
They've been setting up Arya killing the Night King for a while but how will they take King's Landing now? There's was a significant loss of soldiers in this war.
I'm wondering the same. Dothraki, Unsullied and a huge chunk of the Northern forces, gone. Dany has the dragons, but Cersei knows that and is preparing for them. They're going to have to come up with something creative because they don't have the numbers.
@Will Grello It was silly to you. Some of us actually appreciate the show for what it is.
@@vegasgirl3538 Exactly. They did before, but that was before most of Dany's army and the Dothraki got taken out. It'll be interesting to see how the characters deal with that aspect of their world without the threat of the Night King looming over them.
Melisandre told Gendry in S3
"You will make King falls and rises"
Gendry Baratheon will kill Cersei for she will kill Arya.
They're going to pull a LotR and have Yara pull up at the last minute when all is lost for Jon and Dany. Euron will scoff at her and go for the kill and surprise surprise here come the Second Sons.
Watching it again I think it was kind of smart (intentionally or not) for Drogon to have attracted all those wights, have them swarm him, and then fly off -- significantly reducing the threat around Dany. Just my two cents on that scene. My initial reaction was pretty much like everyone else's "fucking fly already!!!" lol
I love that Theon is the only character to have died at the hands of the Night King himself. Glad that he was able to share tender moments with Sansa last ep, and here he somewhat received forgiveness for his mistakes from Bran. RIP Theon.
And you know, Dany was never in my list of favorite characters, but I really felt for her as she was crying for Jorah. She just lost the most loyal person to her.
I don’t get why people are upset with this episode and especially Arya killing the Night King. It was planned from the start, all of the foreshadowing led to that moment.
And Theon... fuck man. All of his scenes this season were so emotional for me I almost teared up at all of them.
I completely agree with you that anything that comes after this has the danger of being extremely anti-climatic.
The Night King and the invasion of Westeros has been the dark cloud hanging over the series since the VERY FIRST SCENE of the show. It would have been interesting to see the Night King win the battle of Winterfell, driving the survivors South to Kings Landing where they battle Cersei and the Golden Company, defeat them and take Kings Landing as the Night King arrives, resurrects the Golden Company into his army and the show ends with a massive battle at Kings Landing where the Night King is eventually defeated and Kings Landing and the Throne are destroyed.
