    Lori looks younger today than she did 7 years ago and she’s still as down to earth and an all round lovely lady
    I also think the host ? Kimberly is doing a fantastic job. She doesn’t talk over her guest and shows interest in what she’s saying and asks sensible questions

    I must have been living under a rock. I have not followed you, but I love your taste for vintage and the bee line. Lovely studio layout. We are moving and I have a small room for my quilting studio. ❤️

    I have a fondness for vintage things. Do y'all have any tips on what to look for in vintage irons for quilting?

    • @FatQuarterShopTX
      @FatQuarterShopTX  4 роки тому

      Hello Kevin! Lori likes the heavy weight and extreme heat of the vintage irons. Of course you also want to make sure the electrical cords are still in safe, proper working order!

    Hi , I love your vintage muffin pans, can you tell me how you prepare your tins for painting, and what kind of paint you use, thanks so much,, love your sewing room.

    • @FatQuarterShopTX
      @FatQuarterShopTX  6 років тому

      Hi Rita! We don't know very much about painting but we would suggest to start with the tins clean and dry and a primer is optional! Also, spray paint seems to work best with muffin tins but we haven't tried it ourselves so let us know how it goes if you try it!

    I’m looking for a video on how to install the Riley Blake, Seams Sew Easy. I see it on Lori Holts sewing Machine and I bought one from Fat Quarter... however... I’m dense. How do I install it???

    • @FatQuarterShopTX
      @FatQuarterShopTX  4 роки тому +1

      Hello Cathi! To install, you line it up with the needle on center line. Next cut out a space for your feed dogs and needle to go through. use a few pieces of washi tape or painters tape to keep it in place. ua-cam.com/video/p9iKbDlsB9g/v-deo.html

      Hi Sandra - Lori used to use the Angler marking tool on her machine but they are no longer sold, so Lori created her own, they are called, "Seams Sew Easy" and you can find them here: www.fatquartershop.com/catalogsearch/result/?q=seams+sew+easy%21
