Pratima has experience in sustainable farming on family farms in India and working on research projects in Cambridge, UK and Agriculture Agri-Food Canada, Saskatoon. She holds M.Sc. in Botany and M. Phil in Plant Breeding from Cambridge University, UK. She received the Green Hero Award from the City of Vaughan for her commitment to promoting and practicing sustainable living. She is a member of the team of instructors for a York University online course on Safe Permaculture Practices under the coordination of Professor José Etcheverry. She is a also a member of the Rural Learning Association.
