EDIT: I"ve seen several comments on how there is no room for the food! We do ours buffet style! We make way to much food for it to all fit on the table, even when there are no decorations! LOL Plus it's such a pain passing food around! Buffet is the way to go and then your table can stay nice and pretty! 🍁 If you do want to put your food on the table, I suggest having a centerpiece in an easy to remove way, such as in a tray , etc..
The lack of space for food was also in my mind so good to know it is fine! I liked the Target runner better as it was a simpler backdrop to showcase that great decor and plating. The pottery barn runner would be good for when you need that seasonal color, but are not expecting 6 for dinner. This Pottery Barn vs Target video was fun (and informative). Maybe do it again for all the yearly holidays?
Us too I’ve always gone all out on my table decor and we have dishes a mile long, so all dishes are in the kitchen for buffet style. I do put an ice bucket and tea on the buffet and decorate around it and always keep the salt and pepper and butter on the table to pass.
Yes!!!!! Buffet style! And the guests who are unable to ambulate, there are plenty of folks who will bring their food choices to them. Everything was very pretty, very festive, but the first table setting was perfection………🥰
I like the Target one more. It’s also really nice that you’re very down to earth about everything and don’t appear as if you’re trying to impress the audience. You genuinely show us a few options and the pros/cons of each. Nice!!
Leslie....you are so sweet and authentic. I love how you make mistakes and don't edit them out! I am really enjoying all of your videos! Be well sweet lady!!
I liked both, but saving money is what makes it such a fun challenge! The savings is so significant here. Without lessening the tablescape. Great Video!
Target and/or Home Goods always wins for me. I like to use bold napkins on a soft colored tablecloth for a nice contrast. Your tablespace is very pretty and the little turkeys are the icing on the cake.
I'm a seamstress so I've made many of my napkins to coordinate...and have gotten many tablecloths from thrift shops!! So many good ideas. Even get asked if I got new dishes- table is always so differrent. Loved the ribbons and candles!
First and foremost, you look beautiful. Love your top. Secondly, both tablescapes are amazing. You always share the best ideas. Thx for sharing! Xoxo 🤗🧡🍃🍁 🦃
Tablescape is my territory. So clever. So beautiful. I do this for myself for each season. I use pretty, unusual things I have gathered over years. So this year I have a gorgeous harvest table with no cash outlay! Nothing matches exactly. Lots of layers. Natural elements. And odd numbers. My guiding principles. Like yours. Happy Harvest. Give Thanks. PS those pottery barn prices are crazy!
I totally love your style like the target cloth better because the little pears pop on the cream color more than the plaid. i also admire you you are so kind and always bubbly.
WOW! I loved the table. I did prefer the pottery barn color over targets. But what I loved most was terracotta pot with fruit and all the decorations on the table. You are so creative.
I love them both so much, PB is my favorite, but Target throw is really pretty also.. I really love those candles. you have such a lovely home.. I love your blouse too..
General Dollar had a fall throw that was oranges and yellows would be a perfect replacement for table cloth. Looked allot like pottery barn one. It is amazing and love the candles.
My fav is finding things at estate sales and consignment stores. I just can’t justify spending PB prices on things that you can find for so much cheaper!
The practical side of me screams Target, but my heart is with the Pottery Barn tablescape. I love the muted fall colours of it, plus I think the black ribbons look great with it. I try to save red for Christmas.
Yes I agree!! While I can’t justify the price, and buy only a few pieces from there once in a blue moon, no one does it better than Pottery Barn…… the quality, high end design, etc.
Leslie everything you did is beautiful the Pottery Barn one was awesome and so is the target one truth be told I like the Pottery Barn better. You my dear are so clever and talented I hope you know that. I look forward to every single video you put up. My gosh you have so much talent. I can’t wait till Thanksgiving. Thank you for the time that you take out of your day to show us how we could brighten our house up a little bit or make her holidays just a little bit more special thank you so much honey
I liked the Target tablescape more. The colours can be used for a Christmas Holiday or winter theme so more bang for your buck! Fun video yo watch. Thanks.
Hi Leslie. I couldn't justify or see that big of difference between the two. I like the Target one! My gosh Leslie, you could make a silk purse outta sow's ear! Lol! You amaze me with everything you do! The fall colored blouse with your hair up...well, you look like a princess! Seriously! I hope you and Jason have a relaxing, wonderful holiday season! Love to you both from Texas. 😘🇨🇱
Target for the win. I just saw your comment about buffet style I just assumed you were going to do that. Since you have such a beautiful table scape Thank you for sharing
I love the pottery barn table, but would never pay that price. I searched ‘oversized blanket scarves’ on Amazon and found some really pretty ones between $10-20. Thank you for the idea! I loved how you dressed your table!
Very pretty, I like the Target just as well as Pottery Barn, plus you save money. I think the black and white ribbon & bow fits in with the candle sticks and the pots.
Wow! Great video! Those PB prices are insane! I'm sorry, I'm all for making investments when and where it counts. Both were beautiful but I prefer to keep $100.00 in my pocket! Zero people are going to know the difference. You should have done a 3rd one though, a thrift store one for maybe $10!
In the overall scheme of things, my choice is Target... Pottery Barn's plaid table cover makes it too busy for my eye, but, when using the more subtle cover from Target, more accessory pieces as well as other pieces on the buffet and table tend to stand out more. Atleast to me.... but both are so pretty.. you have a great decorating eye Leslie!! Very nice, thank you!
With a family of 5 some years back, I preferred a buffet. I think passing around bowls and plates of food is cumbersome while trying to enjoy your own plate of food. Although I do like the Pottery Barn Fall colors for the tablecloth and napkins, I LOVE the huge savings from the Target tablecloth and napkins which is also very nice. Your table decor is so warm and inviting. Love your creative ideas. ❤️
Target ... hands down favorite..however I would have used plaid napkins with it Table looks beautiful .so fun to set an inviting table and it makes yours feel very welcome and special.
Love the Target table. The price makes me love it even more. I am new to the channel. Love how your real about not having enough of something or if something got broken etc That happens in real life all the time and I love how you advise on how to deal with it. ♥️
I like the Target one better. With all the pretty things to look at on the table, the Target one has just enough color to be an accent. Love this video.
Our family does buffet style as well. Both table scapes are beautiful. If I had to pick just one, it's Pottery Barn. I love the plaid. The turkeys add the perfect touch .
I love them both! I like that you appreciate well made, beautiful things, be it from PotteryBarn, Target, Hobby Lobby, etc. I like the mix of price ranges. I certainly don’t shop all in the same place, & the average person doesn’t either. You make it all work & it’s awesome! Thank you for your videos, God bless you & your family!
Loved both throws, but the least costly one would be the one I chose. The other decorations are so pretty. You really have a wonderful talent for decorating!
Have never seen black silverware before. Great look. You never fail to inspire. Love your color choices. Well dang on that broken glass, but you "made do" and it looks beautiful. My favorite was the first look. P. S. Love your top also!!
For the Target one, I would add a large scarf that good double as the table runner. I saw some at TJ Maxx with the same camel, ivory, black and gray lines. Double layer on top of the one you have.
I like the one with the cranberry serviettes. My favorite colour. It can be transformed into Christmas by using a pomegranate or small bottle trees with the place cards. Cranberry juice punch in the wine glass. Cranberry picks with the lambs ear. Some red plaid snowmen scarfs on the buffet. Oh but then I shall wait with other ideas as I like to be thrifty.
I love the PB plaid throw! Such a beautiful table. Love the pears and candlesticks! You are so talented and have a wonderful style! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃
I loved the difference between the both that u did. I think u need to do the difference between target and thrifted items. I bet you would have so much fun looking for treasures to incorporate in your holiday scape.
They were both beautiful! I know that is entirely because you have a great eye for decorating and you can make anything look professionally done! Thanks for sharing!
I prefer the Target one, 2 main reasons: Target throw has fringe on all 4 sides and the orange and red border colors are repeated in the pears. Plus it is "calmer" in pattern. BTW The plates are also available at The Christmas Tree Shoppe (don't know if you have one of those in your area, in some places tit's also called "ThisanThat", it's a subby of Bed, Bath and Beyond) ands I have seen the plates also at Burlington.
You have a great decorating style. I like PB one more. I just love your wood table and buffet! I set a pretty nice table too but my family would never go for buffet. They like the food on the table, especially the gravy!
They are both beautiful, but I could never see myself spending $140 for a table scarf and 4 napkins. I am so impressed by people who can create such a beautiful display. Nice job!
Great savings for a look that is just as pretty. The target colors ties in nicely with the lamp shades and the turkeys tie in with the wood blessings letters. Then your pops of colors. It’s a nice look. Even thou the pottery barn pattern was pretty I would pocket the $100. 🦃🦃🦃
The turkey really makes your Blessed sign pop. First time watching. I like the pattern at the pottery barn but for 100 dollars less I would buy the Target one, The items on the table, cover the scarf anyway. Thanks for sharing. Pat in NC
Those are both so gorgeous! I love the PB one because of the plaid and muted fall colors, but I can’t see spending that much so I’d end up at Target or Kirkland’s trying to find something similar too. Great video and you look stunning as well, love that blouse!
I liked The Pottery Barn more-simply because of the colors-I'm a little more country/farmhouse! To be quite honest "Target" was just as beautiful! I did order the Plate ornaments "Thankful" they're so cute. Also, I ordered the tapered candles and candle holders from Target you listed in this video! This entire video- gave me new energy and happiness! Blessings & More Blessings!💕
They are both lovely. I like the target napkins because they really complement the thankful in black. On a completely different note, I know it’s not your typical material, but would you ever do a hair updo tutorial and makeup? You always look so elegant.
You are so sweet! I probably won't do one, because it will throw off the UA-cam algorithm! UA-cam, will be like, what are you doing lady! LOL But thank you SO much!!
EDIT: I"ve seen several comments on how there is no room for the food! We do ours buffet style! We make way to much food for it to all fit on the table, even when there are no decorations! I totally loved both but lean a little more towards the Pottery Barn table linens. Either way I agree that buffet style is the way to go! 🦃
Us too I’ve always gone all out on my table decor and we have dishes a mile long, so all dishes are in the kitchen for buffet style. I do put an ice bucket and tea on the buffet and decorate around it and always keep the salt and pepper and butter on the table to pass.

@C&J Main I wondered the same thing!! So pretty.
Yeah, that PB table rocked!
That plaid was so pretty and just looked much richer. Well, because it was! 😊
I learned as a single mom to buy decor day after holiday. Put straight in holiday bin. Gave affordable new decor to use every holiday.
I really loved the Target one better. The simplicity of it and the backdrop with the blessed and black ribbons was super cute.
I found a very large scarf at Goodwill that looked like the Pottery Barn scarf for $3.00!!! I'm so excited to use it with your idea!!
Good for you! I wouldn't pay $90 for a tablecloth.😬
Plus she could have gone to the fabric store and bought a yard of plaid fabric. Also could have gotten nice glassware at the Dollar Tree.
I loved
The pottery barn one. BUT I really love target. Target looks more formal! Great job. Love how you showed us the difference.
I buy ALL my tablecloths and napkins at thrift stores!!!
Loved both settings and I love the elegant simplicity you go for !!!
I am all for saving money. When the decor can still be beautiful. Both are beautiful.
I like the Target one better. With less pattern, it looks calm and the accessories pop. Great ideas! Thanks.
First and foremost, you look beautiful. Love your top. Secondly, both tablescapes are amazing. You always share the best ideas. Thx for sharing! Xoxo 🤗🧡🍃🍁 🦃
Well now I’m blushing ☺️ thank you so much 🧡

it's awesome how you create these beautiful settings for your family & friends .... creating lasting memories

So.pretty!

Both were pretty. I like the pottery barn table scarf but would do all napkins solid color. Such a beautiful table for Thanksgiving.
I liked the Target tablescape more. The colours can be used for a Christmas Holiday or winter theme so more bang for your buck! Fun video yo watch. Thanks.

I love the the pottery barn best but the pocket for target. We do our dinner buffet style also.

Very pretty, I like the Target just as well as Pottery Barn, plus you save money. I think the black and white ribbon & bow fits in with the candle sticks and the pots.
Both tablescapes are absolutely gorgeous but Pottery Barn is my favorite. Your dining room is so beautiful! ❤️
Target was my favorite because I think solid color is more elegant for Thanksgiving. Love your style!

Target gets my vote because I think the Pottery barn one is to busy for my taste. Both are beautiful!
I totally agree Karen.
I like the Target one, love the way the color of the napkins pop!
Actually, I love how You decorated both ways and You showed how to make it Beautiful on a budget ⚜️
With a family of 5 some years back, I preferred a buffet. I think passing around bowls and plates of food is cumbersome while trying to enjoy your own plate of food. Table looks beautiful
.so fun to set an inviting table and it makes yours feel very welcome and special.
Your Target Tablescape is absolutely....beautiful!!!
Love it!!!🍁🍂🍁🍂🍁
I liked the color of the throw of the Pottery Barn table, but the Target table looked just as good!
I like the pottery barn pattern best; however, both are nice. I love Thanksgiving decorations, and plaid gives all the feels!
I always have kept the food in the kitchen and loaded the plates in there and bring them in ! 😀 This looks amazing 👏👏I love the double glasses ❤️
Love the Target table. The price makes me love it even more. I am new to the channel. Love how your real about not having enough of something or if something got broken etc That happens in real life all the time and I love how you advise on how to deal with it. ♥️
The black stripe ribbon is elegant!
I prefer the plaid myself but found a very nice Pendleton throw at the goodwill for six dollars. I’m so happy. Beautiful table. 👍💕
I like the Target one better. With all the pretty things to look at on the table, the Target one has just enough color to be an accent. Love this video.
I love the painted flower pots. Definitely going to do that. Thanks. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Black and white ribbon looks great
Our family does buffet style as well. Both table scapes are beautiful. If I had to pick just one, it's Pottery Barn. I love the plaid. The turkeys add the perfect touch .
I like the 2nd tablescape. I must add that I'm loving your blouse😍
I think the black ribbon looks good with the Target throw. There is more white/cream color in the throw and that helps blend the ribbon.
Lovely 🦃 I like the pattern on the first design but I also like the second look as well.
Like the Target one better. The red pops and the accessories stand out more. Love it!
I really like both, but the target one is my favorite. Love the burgandy napkins. As always, you don't disappoint!!
You did a great job on the tablescapes! It would be fun to see a Dollar Tree table scape for Thankings and Christmas also.
Loved both throws, but the least costly one would be the one I chose. The other decorations are so pretty. You really have a wonderful talent for decorating!
Last year I bought a scarf from hobby lobby. Used it for Fall and Christmas.
Have never seen black silverware before. Great look. You never fail to inspire. Love your color choices. Well dang on that broken glass, but you "made do" and it looks beautiful. My favorite was the first look. P. S. Love your top also!!
I prefer theTarget one. I also think the ribbon works well with it. Love your channel and all your ideas!
a nice yellow napkin would be nice too - I always alter my napkin colours, gold, silver for special occasions, looks pretty
I actually liked the Target version better. I didn’t care for the plaid from Pottery Barn. This was a fun video to watch!
For the Target one, I would add a large scarf that good double as the table runner. I saw some at TJ Maxx with the same camel, ivory, black and gray lines. Double layer on top of the one you have.
Leslie both tables look wonderful however I prefer the cranberry napkins for the thanksgiving holiday. I got some great ideas for my space, thank you.
Both looked wonderful… But I live the comparison you did and I’m with you. The one for $40 looks just as beautiful and festive as the $140 🍂😀
I like the one with the cranberry serviettes.
I love the Target version better, not as busy as the pottery barn. Great talent! TFS
I love the PB plaid throw! Such a beautiful table. Love the pears and candlesticks! You are so talented and have a wonderful style! Happy Thanksgiving 🦃🦃🦃
I agree that Target choice is more versatile but Pottery Barn has the upscale look. It is good to save money for another project. Thanks for sharing.
I loved the difference between the both that u did. I think u need to do the difference between target and thrifted items. I bet you would have so much fun looking for treasures to incorporate in your holiday scape.

Love your tablescapes! Beautiful color scheme! Turkey’s are very cute! Both tablescapes are gorgeous!
Pottery barn is my choice. the colors in the table cloth really emphasize the season and brings out the other items on table
Love the turkeys!
You have a great decorating style. I like PB one more. I just love your wood table and buffet! I set a pretty nice table too but my family would never go for buffet. They like the food on the table, especially the gravy!
I love the plaid, I'm just all about the plaids😄. Both look really nice though!
I like the target one because it matches the chair backs
Both are very lovely, can't decide. Thanks for sharing different ideas! 🍂🧡🍁
They are both beautiful, but I could never see myself spending $140 for a table scarf and 4 napkins. I am so impressed by people who can create such a beautiful display. Nice job!
Congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your new Grandson. X
Great savings for a look that is just as pretty. The target colors ties in nicely with the lamp shades and the turkeys tie in with the wood blessings letters. Then your pops of colors. It’s a nice look. Even thou the pottery barn pattern was pretty I would pocket the $100. 🦃🦃🦃
I never get tired of your neat ideas. Very clever. 💕 Love you.
The turkey really makes your Blessed sign pop. First time watching. I like the pattern at the pottery barn but for 100 dollars less I would buy the Target one, The items on the table, cover the scarf anyway. Thanks for sharing. Pat in NC
Pottery Barn is my favorite, but pricey. Great vedio.
Thank you 😊
Both settings are fabulous and welcoming. You are so talented.💕
The accessories are the details that show. The background looked fine table cloth was great when changed.
I liked the last With the red color for 40 dollar. The red gave å Nice glow to the table setting😍
Those are both so gorgeous! I love the PB one because of the plaid and muted fall colors, but I can’t see spending that much so I’d end up at Target or Kirkland’s trying to find something similar too. Great video and you look stunning as well, love that blouse!

I LOVE your decorating style. Everything is always so beautiful!! 🍁🍁🙏❤️
They're both beautiful but I think I prefer the target one as it's brighter and I love bright xx
I like them both. No1 for Nevis the one with turkeys. Love turkeys.
I like the Pottery Barn one best myself, very good decorating . Wonderful video.
Love the look of the target one best beautifully done
