    Marvellous pianist. His earliest videos are best, no glitter.

    Well played in his own inimitable style. Enjoyed it.

    How much do you have to practice to be able to look around and smile without missing a note. His spacial awareness and accuracy on every plane is mind-boggling. Wow, was he amazing.

    One of the best interpretations of this piece that I've been able to find...and the strings add a lot too!

    I was so thrilled to be able to see him in person when he came to Morgantown, WV. He was my idol when I was a kid. Yes, you're right. His piano does spin around so everyone can see him equally.

    Love Liberace's finger dexterity. He must be great playing Liszt! I think that there could be more dynamic range (louds and softs) but that could be the Baldwin piano or the microphones.

    besides the impeccable musicianship, this show had advanced camerawork and editing which still looks fresh - I still hope that somewhere, there's a few non-condensed performances of major works to be unearthed.

    Actually think this is one of the better inpretations of piece even though Liberacae sometimes downplayed as a musician. Like the tempo.;

    I pray that we are having a revival of this great artist and entertainer. Why can't the critics understand this is HIS interpretation of music. He obviously is not a purist. If he were, he would be doing Carnegie Hall and making $5,000 a year instead of $5 million! Why not enjoy both. Ugh!

    can't agree with you there..think he was a truly great showman..and yes, pianist, too..

    @lsbrother Well, it is because Liberace's piano is on a turntable and its spinning around as he's performing.

    That is Liberace's brother George, playing violin, seated at the front - right.

    of course - I hadn't thought of that!

    bit weird the way the violinists start on his left standing up - at 21s - and then at 2.13 they're all sitting down on his right!

    Now I am finally convinced that Liberace was not only an entertainer, but also a real artist. I actually expected his performance to suck, and I only clicked on it to get a cheap laugh out if it - but it taught me a lesson instead.

    i am not a great fan of any artist vowed by the satanic global elite, but this early musicvedeo is very good.
