Look, they have to adjust the games for the San Francisco Twitter user audience. There's a lot of problematic things they have to remove to support Amazons DEI score.
If they don't release Blue Protocol this year they shouldn't release it in the next 5 or so. Reason? Monster Hunter Wilds is coming in 2025 and having it on the same year will just be self destruction at the point. MHWilds will be the only monster hunting game people will be playing and Blue Protocols mains appeal was that the gamplay and gameplay loop replicates monhun but as an mmo. It's really now or never. No one is going to play after 5 years tho. Should have been global release with no censorship last year. Stupid corporate decisions. It's over.
As someone who played Blue Protocol for 4 months on JP release, i can say for certain the game has no future. Combat is extremely boring, There was no end game and any end game they did add wouldnt be good because combat was just that bad. the game is just mediocre, it was fun for a while but the flaws were deep, and nothing short of a complete rework of some core systems would help the game, but they would never do that as it'd be too much work.
I've read on IGN that BandaiN had a huge drop in revenue in the last quarter (around the 26%), despite good selling titles like Tekken, and that the main reason is Blue Protocol. Apparently BP failed in Japan, not sure if it's because it doesn't appeal to the Japanese audience or the lack of content, but they say that it has been a flop. Maybe Amazon it's taking advantage of this to discuss a new more favourable agreement, or maybe it's BandaiN that doesn't want to risk to launch it now in the West and risk a definitive death for their MMO. They could try to fix it first, and add new content. We don't know it. What we know it's that apparently Blue Protocol was a flop in the East.
I know it's frustrating for anyone waiting for these games to release. But I played the Tech Beta for BP and am not worried about it right now. I've got plenty to play to keep me busy until whenever the launch happens. I'm curious about whether the hold up is the publisher or the devs, but whenever the games come out, I will still play them.
Amazon is waiting at least 6 months for Palworld to die down to release Blue Protocol, then another 6 month for Blue Protocol to die and release Throne and Liberty So BP release is Jun-Jul, and TL release Jan 2025
problem is the guy in charge was from Amazon E-Books and now in charge of Amazon Games which really doesn't make any sense I don't see how he qualified for the position but most likely its a friend of a higher up or family member.
Honestly I stoped caring about new mmo games. I mean they are delyed or they are 4-5 years away or they come out and end up being bless or a new mmo comes out and it´s a shitty ass mobile game mmo ported to PC. At this point It´s just better to play BDO,ESO,FFXIV or do like I done go back to some old mmos like Akia, Vanguard saga,Arch lord. Honestly new mmo games are pure and utter disappointments. Sadly Soon BDO will be less fun to play because for some reason they are fucking over Life skilling so hard I start to question why the frick do you add it to the game to benign with.
The only one there is possibly hope for is riot games mmo since they have a massive budget and experienced developers from other big mmos that hopefully understand what makes mmos die and what works
i wished i lived in ither south korea or japan and spoke their native languages. it sucks always get games waaaaaaaay later, or at all, and censured . :/
My hype for Blue Protocol is dead. But I have BIG hopes for Throne & Liberty. Please Amazon, don't f*ck it up!!! I've tried it for a few hours on the Korean server and I loved it. It has similar grabhics, and even better I would say, than BDO (that it beautiful but way too cluttered visually), has a cleaner UI, and the combat was fun. I much prefer tab target than the weird mix that is the combat in BDO (it kinda feels like a fighting game, but implemented in a weird way, I just hated having no spell bar and having to use my keyboard and mouse as if it was a big stenography keyboard lol). As for the delays... I much prefer getting a good finished game later, than a shitty game time ahead that everybody will flee and then it will die. We need to be patient. I'm just a bit worried about the silence, and Amazon handling those two games. But T&L was still lacking a bit of content on KR server. It's getting better, and I think it should be ready for global in a few months. But at this point I think I'll have to enjoy Tarisland first :)
Probably T&L will be released first and with all the controversy with the combat and the system, Amazon have to wait until it works properly. Its about business and money, i dont think they are going to releases two MMOs in the same year to compete with each other.
Curious why we are pointing the finger at Amazon for two games that are currently dumpster fires.... Like if anything Amazon should probably be looking to get out of their publishing agreement given the way both these games have been going so far.
Its really pisses me personally how bad amazons communication with the comunity regarding the game. been waiting for the game since the first trailer in 2019 ! it was suppose to be here last year but they said F U to everyone by now we should at least get some news but from what we know is that T&L is the main goal release in Q3 and its just sad we will probablly will have to wait until the end of 2024 for Blue protocol to drop im still waiting for the game my most wanted game . its really good to see that the devs improve the game witnQOL and listens i hope amazon wont flop it ! maybe for many the hype has died but for me it is still somewhere there tough not that much i mean how much more do we have to wait...but what really drives me off the stupid ass shit woke culture of censorship that amazon goes with honestly the west culture and wokeness ruins everything there is
No, you can blame some over-sensitive executive for removing it. Amazon is SO UTTERLY TERRIFIED of even the smallest bit of controversy from the tiniest group of people that they slap white paint on EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that could be considered even remotely offensive.
Part of me hopes TL & BP will do good initially (so we'll finally have a new MMO) but then flop and face major backlash not long after to pressure AGS to actually deliver a quality game!
I couldn't give an absolute Dam about throne and Shetery. Amazon games is looking like another Nexon company.. I still want to play blue protocol. Also Regarding @Asmongold I'm quite confident that none of his videos can entertain me. Hardly anything entertains me these days, and it's so frustrating. Thanks for the video as Always Stix
You know, when they said they were gonna redo the combat in TL, I was actually looking forward to this game. AGS being silent isn't even the biggest issue with this game. The fact that people who like this game can't tell the truth of this game is a bigger issue. They will literally say things that are in direct opposition to what the devs says to try and get people to play the game. The game isn't P2W because the systems for global release will be different from what they have in KR which is ABSOLUTELY P2W while the devs have said with no ambiguity that the global and KR games will be 100% the same thing. Oh bots aren't everywhere and a big problem...while the devs have said it is absolutely everywhere and a problem that they are working hard to fix. This game is LA part 2. It is P2W that will get worse as the game ages and full of bots which will get worse as the game ages. Which honestly would have had me play the game for a few months like LA until I can't keep up with the gear treadmill without shelling money and the bots gets to me.
Blue Protocol could have been THE game to save MMORPG genre, but alas the developers have not handled the game properly and AGS censorship made the game DOA for NA release.
I wouldn't say it's the savior of the mmorpg genre lol. Not even close. It doesn't do anything that hasn't been done before. Sure the anime aesthetic is nice but nothing groundbreaking about the game and that's fine. I'm still excited
Ffxiv, wow, and gw2 are pretty much carrying the majority of mmo players for now and have been for a long time while most others come and go into obscurity
@@crazy8slayer Maybe honorable mention to ESO? But you are right, those three games are the main games to go for the MMORPG experience, although Aion, Lineage II, Blade & Soul have refused to die off. There was an oversaturation of MMORPG titles between 2012 to 2020...
With the rise and fall of both Lost Ark and New World, I imagine AGS is both incompetent and now uninterested in MMO publishing since it hasn't gone well at this point.
The hype been dead for Blue Protocol once they chose Throne and Liberty over that game that everyone was looking forward to the most and only to delay Throne and Liberty as well. That just made matters worse. 👀

But from the rest of your content I assume that you meant something closer to "strongly" or "intrepid studio is in close contact with the community".
The wait for blue protocol is becoming a joke. I happened to find some throne and liberty video a month ago, and thought hey it looks like a fun game, but then I saw the global publisher is gonna be amazon again, so I immediately decided to play on KR server. Never had made a wiser decision in my life, I'm not gonna place any hope on amazon ever. If blue protocol taiwan comes out I'm gonna play it. Amazon can go to hell.
Blue Protocol might as well be canceled overseas since they kept delaying, the hype for this game been dead for quite some time plus the censorship isn’t helping at all wonder if the game doing alright in Japan now that I think about it?

It's over.
Amazon sucks. Killing all the hype with silence.
Delay the game, remove parts of the content, censor everything that could be censored, and only after that, release the game. God i love amazon
Hoping Granblue Relink adds more multiplayer content ontop of its DLC in the meantime.
I'm most excited about Throne and liberty ,because you can turn into a bird and fly...
Amazon is waiting at least 6 months for Palworld to die down to release Blue Protocol, then another 6 month for Blue Protocol to die and release Throne and Liberty
So BP release is Jun-Jul, and TL release Jan 2025
I gave up Blue Protocol
problem is the guy in charge was from Amazon E-Books and now in charge of Amazon Games which really doesn't make any sense I don't see how he qualified for the position but most likely its a friend of a higher up or family member.
I've already given up on those two. Maybe in 2030 when amazon finally gives up on it
They will delay both games until I get my life together and dont have time anymore to actually play them. Great.
Throne & Liberty is a YES, Blue Protocol is a NO
Might as well just monetize it in Steam seriously.... *With reasonable price like palworld
The only one there is possibly hope for is riot games mmo since they have a massive budget and experienced developers from other big mmos that hopefully understand what makes mmos die and what works
i mean how hard is it to give a freaking date all we want is : "hey the game comes on this X date / period time of the year".... FFS
I am not sure if it was Amazon or Bandai who decided to remove content and censor the game to death but either way they killed the game, what a shame.
i wished i lived in ither south korea or japan and spoke their native languages. it sucks always get games waaaaaaaay later, or at all, and censured . :/
Guys guys just forget blue protocol global letting amazon handle it was a mistake on bandais part it's not gonna happen.
And let get it clear that those games have limite time to make succes because i doubt that they will survive the Riot MMO hype and release
i lowkey forgot about blue protocol because i didnt came out the same time as japan
Eh though not an mmo, I'm really enjoying Helldivers 2. Matchmaking is still dumb last time I tried, but works after a few tries of spamming.
Tarisland is better
Lmao
@JasonUchiha349 Metin2 is better
Also no SEA server, and I don't know what happen to Global next can SEA player join them or get same result as JP Server
something is very disfunctional inside amazon games, this proves that just throwing money at probles does not give good results.
Curious why we are pointing the finger at Amazon for two games that are currently dumpster fires.... Like if anything Amazon should probably be looking to get out of their publishing agreement given the way both these games have been going so far.
i was 17 when i heard about this game and i'm now 20 and cooked
I swear if Amazon turns this into another global Pso2 where we don't get the game until 8 whole years, Imma go ape shit
Excitement died when AGS took it up. No SEA server, no party
Its really pisses me personally how bad amazons communication with the comunity regarding the game. been waiting for the game since the first trailer in 2019 ! it was suppose to be here last year but they said F U to everyone by now we should at least get some news but from what we know is that T&L is the main goal release in Q3 and its just sad we will probablly will have to wait until the end of 2024 for Blue protocol to drop im still waiting for the game my most wanted game . its really good to see that the devs improve the game witnQOL and listens i hope amazon wont flop it ! maybe for many the hype has died but for me it is still somewhere there tough not that much i mean how much more do we have to wait...but what really drives me off the stupid ass shit woke culture of censorship that amazon goes with honestly the west culture and wokeness ruins everything there is
Censorship and woke bs need to stay out of gaming, that shit is why things like tiny Tina's wonderlands was so cringey it was hard to play
silence = bad?
The boob slider thing, yeah, I can blame Asmongold for that, his little bit of amusement cost the fans
No, you can blame some over-sensitive executive for removing it. Amazon is SO UTTERLY TERRIFIED of even the smallest bit of controversy from the tiniest group of people that they slap white paint on EVERYTHING and ANYTHING that could be considered even remotely offensive.
Both of these games can go burn in a dumpster fire 🔥 im sick of this lame sensorship
the mabinogi ost in the beginning oml
hit hard
Part of me hopes TL & BP will do good initially (so we'll finally have a new MMO) but then flop and face major backlash not long after to pressure AGS to actually deliver a quality game!
I've completely forgotten about these two games.
I want blue protocol already Amazon games is taking to long
What would Obama do?
I mean blue protocol is already released in Japan so yeah
I couldn't give an absolute Dam about throne and Shetery. Amazon games is looking like another Nexon company.. I still want to play blue protocol. Also Regarding @Asmongold I'm quite confident that none of his videos can entertain me. Hardly anything entertains me these days, and it's so frustrating. Thanks for the video as Always Stix
No other big mmos arw releasing soon. I promise you, in the mmo space, hype may go, but as soon as a daye is announced, it will be right back.
NcSoft making Purple seems like they are going to self publishing. Bless Unleashed is filling spot, the UE 4 update really looks amazing.
I wish companies would stop announcing things until like a month before actually getting releasing it
well all wish but we live in a fucked up world that driven by money
Blue Protocol could have been THE game to save MMORPG genre, but alas the developers have not handled the game properly and AGS censorship made the game DOA for NA release.
I wouldn't say it's the savior of the mmorpg genre lol. Not even close. It doesn't do anything that hasn't been done before. Sure the anime aesthetic is nice but nothing groundbreaking about the game and that's fine. I'm still excited
@@Filthycasual17 Like I said, "could have been" but it happened to just not be it.
No way an anime mmo is the savior lmao. Zero shot.
That's why I have more hopes for Ashes of Creation. Even we have no release date but the team from intrepid studios is in close contact with the community and share ever step and collecting responses from the community.
I hope that does not come of the wrong way, but "hardly" means "barely", "rarely", "not much",.... . What you are saying is that intrepid studio is not in contact with its community at all. But from the rest of your content I assume that you meant something closer to "strongly" or "intrepid studio is in close contact with the community".
@@Tam_Hawkins Just a typeing error. But thanks for the hint 👍
I already forgot all about the game
The wait for blue protocol is becoming a joke. I happened to find some throne and liberty video a month ago, and thought hey it looks like a fun game, but then I saw the global publisher is gonna be amazon again, so I immediately decided to play on KR server. Never had made a wiser decision in my life, I'm not gonna place any hope on amazon ever. If blue protocol taiwan comes out I'm gonna play it. Amazon can go to hell.
I'm certain these games won't be released at all. Meanwhile, I'm waiting for either HIT2 or Odin Valhalla Rising to come out.
Blue Protocol might as well be canceled overseas since they kept delaying, the hype for this game been dead for quite some time plus the censorship isn’t helping at all wonder if the game doing alright in Japan now that I think about it?
its been steadily improving but its still a far cry from hitting the right note to where it can be stable and reliable.
they got a boost of players when it launched on ps5 but its kinda tapered off a bit but the content cycle is very much still the same an the rewards are really terrible for free to play players
