The guys on the left better hope that old 8850 is more then just a nice green paint job and an old secondhand Big Cam salvaged from a wrecked truck, coz they paid in gold for that thing.
@@jarrodwemhoff7270 compared to today's prices all I was thinking. I had a 8650 with repower and that did alot for that tractor. I also had a 8970 , yes it was a good tractor but I'd think a 8850 repower would've had more power, just my opinion.
@@timwinemiller8615 I agree, when you consider the 8850 model had 1 of the worst reputations out of any of the large tractor models of that era and 40 yrs on your still paying nearly new price!
What a beautiful beast that 8850 is I think iam in love

Crazy money. These things use to sell for 15K with the original V8.
I like when he says GOTTA GO.....YES...OR NO
Look at those auctioneers bleed out every drop of blood outta those poor two bastards.
The auctioneers know their craft for sure. They are very good.
That's a great auctioneer. I don't know who it is but he is the top in his field.
If you think he’s good, check out Joseph mast of Barrett Jackson he’s absolutely the best one on the planet
Auctioneer sounds like a 2 stroke (no offence. Sounds awesome!)
That auctioneer is outstanding in his field..........get it.

Nice Tractor
I’m not a Cummins fan but that v8 was a nightmare. They wouldn’t even take the tractor back in on trade when 60 series come out
It's only nine Hopper bottoms loaded with corn.
Y love duramax...🥰
Cheap HP’s no matter how you look at it!
8850 for $114,000 or go spend $300k for anything else with that hp and technology and tires!
You what’s cool my dad built this tractor for Kinze my dad was kinze repower for jon
was that a good price?
For the seller!
Well worth it.
How? A 8970 was a better tractor than it and you could get 2 for what it would cost to have this. Plus a bunch of money to put in the thing.

Not sure why he started at so low a price. I’d have thought he’d start at $50,000, at the least, instead of $10,000.
Start it low and watch it go.
It’s not where you start, it’s where you end up. Why start high then have to go backwards before you go back up. Wastes time.
@@randykovalenko1236
And it doesn’t waste time starting extremely low?
Crazy prices these days

Well bought because it's not a technology tractor that nobody can afford of work on
Good jop👍😊
120,000 new price they did well.
I would’ve bought two of them for that price
Well that escalated quickly
Pretty good deal considering that's what low hour 7810's are going for now
Nice tractor, Cheap Horse power.
Don't make them like this anymore
bargain...Maybe auction prices have peaked and are dropping.
For an almost 40 year old tractor I don't think that was a drop in price.
I’d rather have a 9400 for a cheaper price than a 8850.
That's not a auction. Thought it's sold after the 3 time repeating the same number
they can say any number as much as they want , it sells as going once , going twice , sold
@@kevinhoffman8214 real brainer that's what I said
@@hankhenry8914 no that's not what you said
@David Signor hank doesn't understand auctions
Trump2024.

I gave more than that for a 6155M
auctioneer is clearly in dairy cuz he's MILLLLLKKKKKKIN the close...
