I'm obsessed with Jessica Pratt! I have all her music and listen to her daily. She is a sonic treasure.
This is the ture music!!🎉🎉
The playful vocal harmonies, clean percussion and honeyed warmth of the baritone saxophone form these wonderfully plush and pillowy layers around Jessica's lilting voice and are such a treat for the ears. 'Better Hate' AND 'Polyblue', her two best compositions of her career so far, uploaded in succession on KCRW? Feels like Christmas already!
agreed - I would've been happy for ANY JP upload, but the fact that we got the two best tracks from across the catalogue? Incredibly lucky.
more likely an alto sax, barritone is much larger and deeper
Her voice is super weird and unique. And cool.
Great recording of an incredible performance
I feel like Jessica Pratt is many of my favorite artists’ favorite artist. She deserves so much more popularity. She has such a unique creative style and I have many fond memories associated with her albums… thank you for such an amazing performance, Jessica!
