I echo everyone else in saying that this is a phenomenal performance. It's refreshing and frankly inspiring to see an artist so committed to and immersed in her music and performance. If you love St. Vincent, then you might like PJ Harvey, especially her albums in the 90's: Dry, Rid of Me, 4 Track Demos (Rid of Me Demos), Dance Hall at Louse Point, To Bring You My Love, Desire.
I’ve followed Annie Clark since she was with the polyphonic spree, This is what a naturally talented artists evolution looks like. So original, a true innovator 👍 long live Annie ❤
Definitely one of her best performances this year, could this song get any better?. Only thing that would have top it as unexpected might be if she would of set herself on fire (with the right care ofc) like in the vid while dancing... but still, she did the dance, she gave that raw energy, she ate 🔥👏
The people on this thread who have called this boring should watch/listen to the current top 20 to reacquaint themselves with what the word really means. Nice to see Charlotte Kemp Muhl being enigmatic on bass. Annie always gets the coolest people in her band.
That was definitely one of, if not the most committed performance I've seen from Annie for this tune. I expect she picked up a few bruises along the way.
Great live performance with that fuzz guitar, Which is your sound, ya knees joints are still good with those moves, I like unpredictable music that doesn’t conform…
talented, brilliant, incredible, amazing, show stopping, spectacular, never the same, totally unique, completely not ever been done before, unafraid to reference or not reference, put it in a blender, shit on it, vomit on it, eat it, give birth to it
I always loved her artistry and I really like this album, but she should work more on her voice: the seconda half of the song needs power, needs a little growl and a little scream, and she seems to be unable to unleash her full vocal power.
This performance convinced me that rock truly is NOT dead. That's a kind of charisma the scene's been missing for so many years.
You can say that again...! Decades..!

I've never seen or heard SV before; but the very first thing that came to mind was PJ Harvey. A heavier more distorted version of PJ.
This song in particular reminds me of early Polly Jean for sure
Annie Clark was heavily influenced by Kate Bush….❤️❤️❤️❤️

👊🏻🎵🔥
best live performance of this song. come on girl give us EVERYTHING
Phenomenal performance 🖤
The sound mixing was great on this.
Saw her in September in a 1000 person standing room venue. One of my top ten live shows of all time. She’s incredible.
This is half hilarious, half badass, full on talent assault. Performative and compositionally. Annie’s constant evolution is pretty rad.
You her agent ?
@ Go back to exercising LaLanne. Hating looks bad on you.
Well this is a raw wake up on a Sunday morning
St. Vincent's music demands that you take note & listen! Just love the album ALL BORN SCREAMING. Thanks for posting - great live performance.
Best artist on the planet. She’s amazing.
Nah man, this title belongs only to one band and it’s Fontaines D.C.
Great performance tho 👍🏻
@@vitaliydickson2530 Massive Fontaines fan but come on
I can't wait to see her in April!
Charlotte on bass yeah!!
Think I'm in love with St Vincent ❤
Thanks Jools. I hadn’t come across St Vincent before but it’s badass so I’m in 🔥
revolution is televised, thank you Annie 🖤
Best song on the album and one of Annie’s best songs period
this diva 💜

Awesome performance, channeling her inner PJ Harvey.
Stunning!!!
Awesome performance, now there's a proper band and artists and I'm 62😊
Class performance

She was kickass in October Manchester ❤️🔥
Raw energy🔥
Bloody fantastic
Love her stage and lighting design .. looks like she took the interpretation of Goya's Black Paintings on everything of the performance.
The black and white colors with black and white lights sometimes give it a sepia look….
Amazing!!! Brilliant all over.
That was definitely one of, if not the most committed performance I've seen from Annie for this tune. I expect she picked up a few bruises along the way.
Iconic
Pure storm and fire! 🙌🏽🙌🏽
Brilliant performance, makes me want to see her live in 2025.
Just discovered her 😮
Amazing!
Loved it
It's too good!
Remarkable
The best perform!! Hombre roto 💔 te amamos St. Vincent 🎉🎉🎉
Killed it !
Great live performance with that fuzz guitar,

Holy shit!! 🔥🔥🔥
Beck is really killing it on guitar! Nice to seem him having some fun these days.
Hahaha you really got me there 😂
@ 😂😂
We all need a few more laughs these days!
It's Jason Faulkner and he used to play in Beck's band. They probably use the same hair stylist.
Yes!
St. Vincent the best!!!
OBSESSED with her intensity
damn, this was fire from beginning to the end
She turned into part Liam Gallagher part Mike jagger part Johnny rotten….love st Vincent whatever she is does ❤
amazing!
Genius
OMG 🔥🔥🔥
Well, damn. So fine ❤
hell yeah!
Someone called 911 after her fainting? 😧
What a hecking performace! Absolutely powerful AF!
Wow.
Temazo,
Grrreat. Fuckin great song and performance.
WOW.....well, that was the best performance of 2024. Sorry, Taylor, but it really was.
If you think this is great, watch The Greatest Performance Of The Year By St Vincent in Mexico City last weekend….❤️❤️❤️❤️
you can say that again! i saw that set irl... shame it was only an hour long.
What are looking at?! Genius.
Impressive !!
Wow, amazing performance, as someone else said, echoes of PJ Harvey…
She’s definitely been taking inspiration from early Polly Jean here but thats no bad thing!
wtf thank you!
Iggy Pop meets Kim Gordon, love it, massive energy.
fucking awesome.
yeah. that's really good.
fantastica
Lui è il chitarrista di Beck ❤
That guitar tone is just so filthy-beautiful 👨🍳 💋
Her stage presence = PJ Harvey + David Byrne
Epic
🔥🔥🔥🔥
Annie rock hard always. ❤❤❤
¡¿Que estas mirando?! ¡¿Que estas mirando?! ¡¿QUE ESTAS MIRANDO?! 🗣🗣🗣
I would love to see Depeche Mode do a version of this.
A bit of Nina Hagen, Courtney Love, Siobhan Fahey, Christine and the Queens and Madonna
Anyone else getting serious PJ Harvey vibes from this, because damn that was awesome!
🤟🇰🇿🤟, люблю её 😍
I can relate to her song New York….One month in 2018, I spent a lifetime off 8th Avenue in the Meatpacking District….
I cannot and I have lived in NYC 39 of my 45 years of life having been born in Morningside Heights and currently living in Turtle Bay.
I was born in NYC and spent nearly half my life here, the city was amazing in the late teens before the pandemic ruined everything….
Jesus Annie. Stop writing songs about me!
Visceral. That is quite a range. Respek
3:14 🤘🖤🤘
Я больше чем уверен,что Мик Джаггер неугомонно будет танцевать под ваш трек.Дух Курта Кобейна думаю удивлён,а так же вокалистка Cardigans.
Come on Annie. Make an effort😂
(Just fantastic 🔥)
I like watching her play guitar, so I was disappointed she wasn't
That’s Beck playing guitar with her right? Very cool
Nope. Looked again and I was mistaken! 😅
@@mattheweastel129 Jason Falkner, plays for Beck sometimes.
Musiknya rumit
Goddamn…
I find this song boring. It just doesn't hit. She's going harder in the performance because she knows this.
You alright, luv?
Ooh look how kooky and alternative I am. Boring, all been done before and without the contrivance!
This is so PJ Harvey-esque. That's not a criticism.
More Kate Bushiish…..❤️❤️❤️❤️
sounds like annie was inspired by 808s and heartbreak
♾️
That kicked my butt!

Like it, but come on Mr Falkner, you’re too good just to be in someone else’s band… get back in the studio!
Second !
