Solid and detailed review! I still love this little unit but am tweaking the interface trying to make some of the distortion sounds a little smoother. I really like the chorus effects and some excellent bass sounds too and yeah built like a little tank well worth the low price!
Concidering to buy the Valeton GP-100, cos it have both Guitar and Bass amps, already have the great Zoom G6,..but no patches for bass,..the B6 cost an arm =D, Valeton is a great brand sounds great too have the Valeton coralcab cabsim and it sound freaking awesome, Thanks man for yet a awesome video ,like your nonstressed talk and clear info,
That is actually the reason that I got the GP-100 myself. Bass amps & effects as well as Guitar amps, & effects. That & the fact that it had the best physical build quality of all of the units in this size & price point. It's the only one that is made of solid metal. I loved that unit. I would still be using it if Valeton did not send me a GP-200. That unit is fantastic as well. A lot of the same amps/effects, & a few more, & more buttons/switches/options. Thanks as always for the support & kind words
Thanks so much. Unfortunately I no longer have this unit. I have it away on a contest on this channel to a viewer. I do however have close to 14 videos in a playlist on this unit. Hopefully that's helps. Thanks so much for the sub & comment
@@Jetrue_Cafalse Thanks a bunch. It's pretty competitive here on UA-cam, & a TON of awesome musicians. I do what I can, & it makes me happy making videos. That's all that really matters to me. Thanks again.

Yeah, acoustic simulators are pretty bad. They make a horrible noise. I even thought there was something wrong with the unit. But presets for an acoustic guitar are awesome. I particularly like the OM preset. It sounds really beautiful. It makes piezo shit in my cheap guitar sound good.
I use a custom preset for with acoustic guitar. I basically just use the acoustic preamp, EQ, & a bit of reverb. Sounds awesome. Thanks again for watching and commenting.
I enjoyed all of your videos about this unit.
Helped me dial my unit in easier.
Thanks again and hope you enjoy the 200.
Thanks so much for the kind words. I will have many videos of the GP-200 as well. Valeton makes great stuff. Built like a tank, & great sounds
Best review about this pedal, concise, thorough, and honest. Thanks dude!

Hey kind sir! Can you make and share a Lead tone preset out of this unit? Great review, you've got yourself a new subscriber! 🎉

Unfortunately I'm not familiar with the Zoom G1X4, & don't know anything about it. I know this GP-100 is fantastic though.
Can the patch locations be moved around? ie, if you find a clean, crunch and lead preset you like move then so they are all next to each other???
Absolutely. You can arrange them in any way you like. Thanks for watching/commenting, & if you have not yet already, please subscribe.
@MUSICIANGeeK thanks for the reply. I already subscribed.
@@newmillenniumcyanidechrist4662 Awesome. Thanks a bunch.
Can you switch patches while the looper is running?
Actually good question. I'm not sure, & can't check as I no longer have this unit. I gave it away on this channel in a contest. Sorry.

so I need headphones with a resistance of 47 ohms. have you used this device with monitor studio headphones? what is the impedance of your headphones?

I'm just choosing a processor and accessories for it

@@MUSICIANGeeK You can load your own IRs into the device. I guess you can get great results if you buy high quality IRs.
@@Peaceful_Days Yes. The options are almost unlimited.
