It would be interesting to see if it were possible to create a stable sphere of moon orbits around Earth. I mean hypothetically if you took the Earth out and created a stable Klemperer Rosette out of moons orbiting nothing, you could plunk Earth back in the middle and then just gradually increase the orbits until it's stable again.
It would be extremely impossible to keep each moon orbiting Earth in a perfect way, without crashing against another moon. Of course, we should take into account the tidal forces, so many moons would just rip apart our planet.
