    There are places on Earth where sea water meet bodies of fresh water, and there’s a visible boundary where those waters meet, but do not mix together due to temperature differences, and their specific gravities are different, etc. And obviously, the creatures that live in those waters are only able, generally speaking, to stay where they are; they can’t cross over or they’ll die. Maybe it’s exactly the same for us, just on a galactic scale. We live in a giant lake, and we have no idea about the ocean next door.

    Youre videos are amazing. You really get me thinking. Most of my best ideas on how the universe works happens while watching youre content. Like for example the part where the universe bubbles collided like a Venn Diagram and you say that we may never know if another universe has collided with ours. What if the amount of dark matter double in the areas where theyve collided. We know our universe has dark matter and if we could measure it and it had doubled then wouldnt that be a good indicator? Lol. This is the stuff I come up with. Please make your vids longer and do more content. Excited to see what the future has in store for your channel!

    I've often wondered if our present universe is the only one ever created. There's a theory called the big crunch where gravity eventually stops the expansion of the universe and all matter contained therein slowly contracts into another unimaginable particle which in turn explodes in all directions, just like the big bang we theorize now. Was there another (or many) universe(s) before this one we now live in? Perhaps there were many more. It's something we may never be able to quantify, but I do find it interesting.

    I heard this theory somewhere - Perhaps we are living in the Heaven or the Hell right now and we choose which one to exist in, during this life. Our life-span is designed for the purpose of maturing our consciousness (soul). When we die, our consciousness returns to the ether of the universe. If the consciousness is an evil one (chose Hell in life - serial-killers etc), that consciousness remains in the ether for eternity. If the consciousness is a heavenly (good) one and it has matured sufficiently, it is allowed to move to the next universe (dimension). If the consciousness hasn't matured sufficiently (child death or suicide), it is reincarnated to this world to continue its growth to maturity? Just a thought.

    If we were to collide with another universe bubble with different fundamental constants, would we even be able to interact with it?

  • @moomoomoo33ass
    @moomoomoo33ass 6 років тому +6

    I think beyond our universe Is the “bulk”. Our universe is like a bubble. Outside of that are Infinite bubbles, each being a universe. That place with the infinite bubbles that are universes is called the bulk. Or so the theory states. My question is , what is beyond is the bulk???? What is beyond all of those bubbles of infinite universes( that space that comprises all of the universes)?

      If there isn't any mathematical proof is all random data

    • @moomoomoo33ass
      @moomoomoo33ass 6 років тому +2

      el perro reggae I see what you are saying, but think about it. If there are infinite universes, then those universes would be governed by completely different laws of physics than what we understand in our universe. Therefore all laws and theories that we know of would have no place in those other universes. It’s something that the human mind probably won’t ever comprehend . I really think that “existence”, for lack of a better word , goes far beyond what we know. I teach about this at university and I still want to know where the border of everything and nothing is. The more we know the more complicated it is.

    • @moomoomoo33ass
      @moomoomoo33ass 6 років тому +2

      Stardust_O Exactly what I am saying! But different universes in the bulk would have physics that we couldn’t possibly understand ! ( please read previous comments) . Each universe would have different physics and gravitational laws. This is why we probably will never get answers, unless we can find a way to pierce the bubble and enter another universe. Only then could we get objective evidence to use against her own universe to get answers. Again this is so far beyond our small brains that it will never happen.

  • @lukakiller77

    But HOW exactly do we know that light speed is the highest speed that can be achieved? If numbers expand infinitely,why can't this? Here's an example. This might be something you can't really compare,but when us humans thought we discovered something so dense that we thought nothing could be denser than the thing. But then BOOM!! Here come black holes. Another example relating to black holes. If black holes' gravities are so strong not even light can escape it,imagine how fast you're travelling inside the black hole's space,considering you don't die from getting stretched like spaghetti or being cooked inside or whatever. How fast can you travel through both time and space that your friend who could be looking from millions of kilometers can see you fall in SUPER SLOW while you see the entire future of the universe... Now that's faster than light.

Yes, it's that hairy, old chestnut commonly known as 'God did it' rising to the surface once more. It's much saner, methinks, to continue the gathering of tangible evidence and the collation of data rather than haphazardly rely on ancient superstition and delusionary guesswork. @@lvelez1999 Erm, just wondering, Lisa....would your 'God' be the same 'god' that creates faulty DNA in human beings that leads to dreadful, unnecessary suffering for innocent babies that are born with a whole plethora of illnesses? Is this the same 'God' that also, quite unnecessarily (not to mention irrationally), created an evil nemesis for both himself, and humankind, in the form of 'Satan'? Is your 'God' the same 'god' that religiously espouses 'love', 'forgiveness' and 'kindliness' towards our fellow man, yet seemingly has no objection to contradicting himself by roasting non-believers in Hell for all of time...and all for the sake of that heinous, absolutely unforgivable crime of non-belief? What a hypocrite this supposed 'God' is, especially as the tortured folk may be thoroughly decent, law-abiding, upright, virtuous citizens. Still, let's roast them like a Colonel Sanders piece of chicken for all of eternity, huh?
      On the flip side, is this the very same 'God' that has no compunction whatsoever in allowing sick, demented perverts, paedophiles and serial killers entry into Heaven, provided that they repent and accept 'Jesus' into their lives? If so, then your personal interpretation of a 'Superior Being' that deserves (quote), "praise and glory" is very, VERY different to mine, I can assure you.

    I have allways had an issue with this kind of words, aparently Universe means "every thing", so if there is another bunch of galaxies they must be included within the meaning of Universe. Dont you think so? we should use another one to refer to this conglomerate of matter, energy and void so people like me dont get confused...

      A universe is a universe because it has laws of physics,another might have totally different,we have time,gravity,mass,and speed.Another universe may have totally different laws,maybie dark matter could be another one,who knows...

      Universe is all that exist (and perhaps all that can be concived as well, but thats something beyond any rasonable conversation) those, lets call them, "Cosmos" share among them at least the ether, and aparently for what the video shows they can colide which means they have matter. I see them, is not that i trully belive they exist, as being the same but in diferent states of Real-Nature, energy and time why not, but not that diferent to be considered as a single existance, whatsoever the word to define the real whole is a good idea to bring to a philosopher.
