I don't understand why continuous zippers cannot be separating. I saw a video of a lady who removed some teeth of a continuous zipper and installed her own stop box and pin.
Yes, some places sell those zipper starter boxes and pins, Sailrite does not. Why? They fail very quickly when put into use and we don't like to carry stuff that does not work well. Our customer insist on the best gear!

Hi, you cannot make a continuous zipper into a finished zipper. Another-words a starter box and post cannot be purchased separately and added to a continuous zipper. Sorry.
What kind of zipper do I get for repairing coveralls?
You can use a #5 or #10 vislon or coil zipper for your coveralls.
Are the sliders for finishing and continuous zippers interchangeable?
