I think it is very important tho for parents to not feel pressured into getting a phone for their own child, it is simply wrong to feel guilty (if your kids don't have a phone) and wrong to feel like they are "missing out". You are protecting them from the reality of pain, rejection, insecurity, addiction and so much more negativity that is going to come "from the phone". As adults, we know what's out there. Kids cannot navigate away from things that are pulling them in. Unless they have complete self control, which not even most adults have. Pray before you pay.
This is very correct! Your words are very wise more parents need to hear this. I’ve seen both kids with no phones until 16 and I’ve seen 6 year olds have iPhones. That’s just not okay. So much distractions out there. Kids aren’t learning nothing but to be mindless.
I DISAGREE 👎🏼👎🏼 I choose to keep my children safe from DISTRACTIONS No to phones till there 17yrs old 💯 that’s the Problem society & other kidzzz influence makes our kidzzz think they need phones to be cool to fit in or to look like they got money!! But that’s the trick don’t get ur children phones before they can even develop regular social skills with others & family.. too much is exposed on phones that I try to keep my children from.. why get them phones when I didn’t even have a phone til 23yrs old I did just fine I wrote letters to friends or called them to talk.. my kids can use my phone to talk to there friends i allow them to do that only on weekends & NO Social media’s either NO WAY!! I don’t want my children watching TV a lot or stuck on UA-cam or music videos ..UA-cam is anther dangerous place children should not be on unnecessary!!
