The way the policy has been implemented is on par for a group of people who think they know best without actually having knowledge. I'd like to think its more about high-minded bureaucrats not understanding or caring about the ramifications. Finding a pharmacy that not only sells vapes, but actually has them in stock, is incredibly difficult. Many looked at me like I was asking for crack! It took me a month after the vape ban, for me to get one, and during that month, I was forced to feed my addiction with cigarettes. It really angered me, because nothing has ever been able to assist me in kicking my nicotine addiction, except for vapes. Now I finally have the legal vape device, but my pharmacy says the cartridges are not currently available by the supplier 🤷♀️ Absolute mess! The government has had a year to implement a legal and regulated vaping system and it’s still almost impossible to access! The government has won, and is getting lots of tax dollars by forcing people to return to cigarettes. It’s the rich getting richer and the poor getting poorer, because it’s the poorer members of the community, who are the biggest consumers of nicotine. The other ridiculous part of all of this, is that the legal vapes, don’t make a nicotine free version, so getting off the vapes will be very hard, it’s almost as if they don’t want you to succeed in giving up nicotine altogether. At least the illegal vapes had a nicotine free option…t(e legal vapes don’t. The whole thing is ridiculous. I’m sick of our government telling me what I can and can’t do! Damn it probably is much easier to buy crack, than it is one of these legal vapes, now that I think about it 🤔
There's multiple shops near me that don't even have legitimate cigarettes the whole shop is fake or cheap cigs from overseas! The legitimate cigarettes also in most of these shops are also $5+ more than Woolworths or Coles

If the government really cared about smokers health, they'd offer smokers free cessation products (gum, patches). Small cost for them considering the profits they make from tobacco taxation. But it's all BS, just an easy way to generate revenue used to win votes.
As much as i love Sammy this isn’t about efficacy of vapes Vs smoking 10 years of research is nothing. I look to my family my grandpa is 91 and smoked all his life. Still on a pack a day. So I’ll take that study over a 10 year study. Vapes dont agree with me
100% the fault of the Federal Government. There is no one else to blame for creating the blackmarket. Prohibition does not and has not ever worked. The current taxation levels on tobacco are a form of prohibition.
Snus is not legally allowed to be sold, and the BlackMarket cig shops get done for 'drug importation' if they try to get it in. In my rather biased and uneducated opinion, It's not about discouraging smoking, it's about enabling nicotine addicts to die of smoking or popcorn lung just before retirement age having paid an insanely inflated cost for their addiction -and hopefully a load of taxes as well.

It wasn't a lot of fun, but it got easier. I have no interest in giving anyone more of my money to manage anxiety which is brought on by nicotine addiction in the first place.
The way the policy has been implemented is on par for a group of people who think they know best without actually having knowledge. I'd like to think its more about high-minded bureaucrats not understanding or caring about the ramifications. But 14 billion $ is hard to argue with, add to that it was estimated a year or two back that half of tobacco company lobbyists are ex-politicians, and yeah.... the vaping bogan put it pretty well... Suss.
Also, of course the libertarian wants a free market. It would have been great if you had been able to get someone on the other side of the conversation.
Hey Russ, thanks for watching!
I am really looking forward to getting people from the other side of the conversation on.
Because it's a small channel still, I think it's mostly people who are quite passionate about certain issues (ie those who want change) who will want to come on. As the channel grows though, I hope to include both sides of the conversation - one of the things I'm looking most forward to in fact.
Edit: Great work on quitting nicotine!
@@therealzannonymous Thanks! I've been enjoying your work. Totally understand starting out it must be tricky getting people on board. This was a tough and potentially incendiary subject which you covered really well.
Keep it up, I look forward to seeing whatever you are working on next!
how such massive amounts can get through customs is highly questionable. dock workers, customs etc
Id shout Sherri a Sherry.
Great video thanks
As someone who buys these darts it’s soooo hit and miss, my local had these menthol ice blast Marlboros that I loved and then they got switched out for one with Chinese writing that tasted different then back to the same box but way more synthetic taste that is impossible to smoke, there’s always one decent one you just gotta ask to have a look haha
Going to buy illegal tobacco whilst telling you outside a legal marijuana dispensary 😂
the black market marlboros and bohems have such a smoother taste compared to plain packs. i can taste the chemicals in legal cigs they're disgusting
Shouldn’t “We The People” decide this one? Pretty sure it’s NOTHEIRFB where we choose to spend our own money, ask them what THEY do with their tax payer funded salaries (equivalent to a jobseeker’s funding but with way better “government benefits”)
I am fighting in the tobacco wars on the side of tobacco
Alcohol tax video would be good too!
07:00 that door should probably be free egress anyway
"bashed to death" lol Sharee ❤😂
Cheers to everyone selling cheap darts...love and appreciate you all.
We want cheap ciggies
in boronia ferntree gully there’s atleast 15 or more tabacconists, and more then that if massage places, that be interesting to look at
It almost sounds like someone high up on the inside made the health officers and local government in charge of policing tobacconists and having no real action because they obviously aren’t the police lollllll.
...and people keep voting for Labor....WOW!
It dont matter who is in office. They are all the same working for the same masters.
If it can't be mined, it has to be grown. You cant mine civil disobedience. It must be grown. Using a permanent-culture technique.
The irony that i can get better quality smokes from the Arab shop than i can from smokemart. Genuine Australian smokes are trash now since BAR moved the operation to Indonesia they are absolutely trash. My guy has genuine dunhills from South Africa
i was watching a video from you z man and its gone, did it get taken down?
It's back!
100 grams at dodgy shop is $30…..100 grams at Woolies is $220 🤷♂️
Good old government regulations, they really need to get out of their offices and maybe do what you just did.
If the government really cared about smokers health, they'd offer smokers free cessation products (gum, patches). Small cost for them considering the profits they make from tobacco taxation. But it's all BS, just an easy way to generate revenue used to win votes.
Come to Cairns mate. Heaps of chop shops.
There’s plenty of non taxed ciggies everywhere that’s why there’s a war because groups are trying to take over
sick vid
For God’s sake just friggin STOP SMOKING people!
Kinda sus the cats didn’t want to say anything
Sam the punisher hhahaha
As much as i love Sammy this isn’t about efficacy of vapes Vs smoking 10 years of research is nothing. I look to my family my grandpa is 91 and smoked all his life. Still on a pack a day. So I’ll take that study over a 10 year study. Vapes dont agree with me
The pharmacy guild lies they want to sell vapes they're pretending they dont want millions
I get Manchester cigarettes in qld for $10
I have found shredded chinese newspapers in my double happiness... I swear it could be dyed paper no ones regulating this shit lol

@@HonchHeado thx a million for once i feel humbled in YT lol
Dave limbrik is dan Andrew's albino cousin. Ever seen the movie good son.
Dichotomy paradigm.
Its just made Ciggies cheaper and more available than theyve been for 2 decades or more...thanks Federal Government....what a cock up and a WIN FOR ME❤
