I was stationed at 29 stumps back in 1990. Things have really changed! Please look into the weather radar failure during a Severe Weather outbreak. Multiple radars across the U.S. stopped working. St. Louis radar stopped working right at the time of tornado warnings in downtown. I have screen videos of the St. Louis radar stopped working. This happened on April 2
Also, somewhere I saw that it was a transmission issue. That NWS radars were working inside for them, but not transmitting to radar apps for the public and local news stations due to a pre-scheduled software update. I'm not buying that. This weather event was known about days in advance and could have been postponed.
