What is the differences between this and the ranger version that I already had ?
This version does not have storage space for arrows so is smaller and has a more rounded grip for smaller hands. The Ranger's grip is nice for a flat longbow type grip, but this Scout feels much smaller which is nice. So whilst it doesn't store arrows in the riser it is a well priced alternative for people who will in any case plan to make their own arrows in the field considering 3 arrows stored in a riser may not last all that long in an extended survival situation. It also caters for folk who prefer full length arrows so arrow storage is not as important a weight and pack volume.

@@survivalarcherysystems I can’t recall their official names, but I’ve got a smaller one to start and then bought the big brother… comes in handy as I keep them as a part of my go kit in each of my trucks :)

Awesome looking bow right there. With the music, I was expecting to see a Kentucky rifle, buckskin jackets, a campfire, and a colonial era threadloom. 😂
I actually prefer not having a riser cut out in my bows. Might be more of a learning curve or “paradox” as some put it, but I prefer that more traditional style of shooting. Would be excited to see a model almost combined between this and the Recon. Either way exciting stuff!

@@survivalarcherysystems Am I seeing correctly? Can the limbs go into either side? If there's no requirement for the limbs to go into a specific side of the main body....that is soooooo awesome!! Hell, I'm in just for the pre-drilled sight-mount alone. I've been going thru hell trying to find someone to drill mounting holes into my longtime survival bow (CFSB-1). No one wants to take on the challenge.
Maybe I'll give that one to my son after I get THIS one.
This one can be shot left and right handed and western or eastern style. Riser is symmetrical so you can set it up as you please. :)

Bought this bow after happy results w the recon, no lie buy this bow, what u cant see is the shelf is rounded making shooting barebones( which I do) far more accurate. This is now my #1 go to bow, again like the recon it’s built like a tank, but now I’m shooting 1in groups 10 yards, now I’m gonna see what I can start attaching to this thing

Wow I always loved my Tactical/Recon (I have both) but would definitely trade the space in the riser for a smaller more ergonomic model. Hope I’m able to get in early once this goes live!
