I've had the older original Kickstarter Bagel for 7 years now, I cannot travel if I don't have it with me, it is my first essential travel item (I'm currently traveling and it is plugged right next to me right now). I've also used it for a couple years as my day-to-day multi-port plug at home, and other than a bit of buzzing on one of the USB-A ports after YEARS of abuse, it is still working as the first day I took it out of its box.

Just wanted to mention that I recently came back from Korea and was successful in using the Super Bagel in both Seoul and Seoraksan with no issues, but maybe I just got lucky.

Also may be worth mentioning that the adapter can be bought separately if that's all you need.

At 4:14, it was mentioned that this converter's prongs were too thin to work with South Korean outlets. Have you tried unscrewing the prong tips? Just wanted to ask in case you were not aware that the prong tips could be lengthened and maybe this would solve the issue.

love my super bagel and travel everywhere with it. i did use it in Korea but do not recall if i faced any problems with it. but one thing to note is that for the EU style adapter, the metal part of the prong can unscrew and extend. not sure if that would have helped with the situation but i think it’s a good to know functionality that may be useful elsewhere.

I had trouble unscrewing it and it seemed sort of flimsy. Did you have any problems with the flimsyness/it staying in place? Also, were you ever concerned about fire risk or anything?

I noticed your small power brick. Which kind do you recommend?

Great review! Is this completely not workable in South Korea? What's the alternative you show in the video? Thank you!

    Hi
I was just wondering, does it overheat with use?
    Much thanks

I purchased a Mogics Donut in 2016, and SuperBagel in 2020. Both were Kickstarter projects at the time. I've never noticed either one getting warm when in use.
