| Which one is BEST? T-72BU or T-72M2E | World of Tanks Modern Armor |

Today I put the T-72BU and the T-72M2E side by side and compare them. They are both solid, top tier Era 3 heavies in ‪@WorldofTanksModernArmor‬ but this comes down to what you would prefer:
If you want armour, then go with the T-72BU.
If you want a better weapon system, then go with the T-72M2E.

I did a 15k damage game in the BU and the missiles were a big part of that but I do miss the HE when facing 477s. The sad thing is both lines seem better than the T80 line as they seem to catch fire if the wind blows lol.

I love playing the BU. I have several ERA3 premium tanks & this is my go-to machine.

I prefer the T72BU with ATGMs plus I can't be bothered to grind the merdena

The moderna gets penned beside it's gun so easily, BU for the win!

All T-72s can be penned when you shoot right down their barrels, and some high pen standard round and premium round can penetrate the gun mantlet surrounding the gun barrel. So stop facing hugging when you play a T-72.

After all the BU is a much more advanced t-72 so still the BU

I really like the T-72 BU, but it catches fire very easily. Any cannon with high penetration will burn two to three feces per round. Even using fire prevention equipment, the T-72 BU will burn.😅 The new ERA 3, on the other hand, does not burn as easily, which is already a positive point.

Well its the same tank platform… That means, the fuel tanks r on the same positions and the engine as well. Its only rng based and player based, how much u burn. If the player shoot every shot into the fuel tanks, u will burn with both tanks.
