    Hey Chris, in your high knee run, you have your foot plantar flexed. It should be dorsi flexed (toe pointing up).

    Chris can you put together a speed, strength, power program? I'm sure you have learned a lot since your TXT program. Love your stuff man.

    When you structure your warm up, is it in the sequence you are showing the video? or will your dynamic stuff be at the very end and are your quadruped hip movements at the start?

    Beautiful!
    I'm a biomedical engineer and crazy for fitness coaching. I used to run a soccer academy and made a great progress but ... Anyway, is my medical engineering sufficient for having me train boys? I know all the physiology and anatomy.
    I'm always challenging myself for fitness.

    This is a very helpful warm up routine; nice job Chris. Thank You. P.s. I have some players unable to touch their toes when they bend straight down; any stretching exercises you could suggest to fix such issue?

      Hi Sergio, did you find out an answer to your question? What ultimately did you do for those players, and what were the results?

    I really LOVE your Videos, but ive got a question about this video. Why dont you use a first warm up to get a better temperature of your clients body? I learned " First global than local"

  • @avskarthik2938
    @avskarthik2938 7 років тому

    what do you suggest, are long runs required before warm ups in everyday schedule..??

    Jo Chris,
    When doing the hip circles, when i am squeezing the glutes, i notice some pain/uncomfortable feeling in my hamstrings or the top of the calf just under/in the popliteal?

    • @asarta703
      @asarta703 8 років тому

      I reckon doing some hamstring stretches during the day would help, so slight bend at the knee reach down with straight back and bounce up and down so you can feel the stretch

    it's amazing to see you put up these videos and get few k views while you have a partner who has a channel with 30 x the audience of yours. distributing these videos there would both make you nice coin. but instead you are collecting pennies.

    • @vladanr74
      @vladanr74 8 років тому

      They were partners for years. It's not mooching but common sense to deliver service and monetize to the fullest potential.

  • @tomhannaford3511

    Is this really necessary? I feel like you could compress it into maybe 3 drills. Sprinting is a natural human movement, it doesn't make sense from an evolutionary stand point to need to warm up like this for 15 minutes before sprinting. If it's a corrective drill specific for the athlete I can understand but it seems a bit over kill.
    This is my favourite channel on YT though, been following Chris since the OG Strength Camp days. Appreciate the content.

    • @tomhannaford3511
      @tomhannaford3511 6 років тому

      I suppose this is just very specific to track athletes, where sprinting is their sport?
