The story scene with jiyan and geshulin (as a phantom) was probably my all time favorite scene in any game ever. Love the lore coverage amethyst!

The fact that Geshu fought the Threnodian at full power ALONE, and put it into a coma for 3 years. Rover + Jiyan fought a weakened version together, still struggled to fight it, and would have lost if not for Abby absorbing the Havoc. Geshu just using the lore we have now is obscenely powerful.

Geshu Lin is my most anticipated character as well! He's way too interesting to just leave as a dead npc. He's got a lot of story potential, he provides variety as he differs from the other playable and major characters, he's got an awesome design and an absolute badass as you said.

@@ahahahahahahahahayes8524 Yeah I know. All I meant was that he's so far only been in a flashback and a hallucination. If Kuro just left it at that, never showed him alive, didn't mention him in story again etc, then basically he's a dead npc by default.
I think Solon confirmed that the female to male character ratio will be 3:1 and with Zhezhi in 1.2 and the leaks saying 2 female characters on 1.3 I think that the earliest he's released is 1.4

Bro Im a sucker for tragic heroes. Kaneki, Eren, Okabe Rintarou, Lelouch YOU NAME IT! Geshu Lin making the tough decisions sacrificing armies to prioritize the win & keep jinzhou safe. He did all that and what he got in return was backlash. No one mourned his missing/death status and Jiyan got all the fame & glory. Perfect setup for a tragic hero there. Also at 1:30 greatly reminds me of Erwin from aot s3.

Scar isn't Geshu because Scars' origins were in Qichi Village.
I don't buy the rumour of Scar and Geshulin being the same person. If we look closer at their tacet marks and faces they look similar but not the same

i don't think so, my theory is that Geshu is Scar given they have the exact same resonator mark on their neck.
Hmm. There are only so many places in a human where a mark can be. There’s bound to be many resonators with a tacet marks in same spot. The individual marks are like fingerprints but the location can be same.
@@neanahidden that is true but so far every character has had a unique mark and position. Also seeing someone with the same mark so early in the game's story screams to me there is a connection.

@darrylcortez8263 yeah for real, it's times like these I'm super happy that during the "devs listened" period of compensation giveaways, I decided to roll a 2nd account that's only a week or week and a half behind the first one. So now I've got an account that is heavy fusion (changli,encore,e6 Mortefi,e6chixia) and another that has more havoc and electric(h rover instead of spectro, yinlin,calcharo, waiting on hopefully havoc camellya...and I lucked out that I got Verina after wasting my 2nd selector on Calcharo)...allows me to HOPEFULLY get them all though skipping Zhezhi on both accounts because glacio sucked prior is REALLY testing me. Changli's gameplay is the most fun I have, and it seems Zhezhi would be AS much or more...I just hope Kuro keeps cooking with the fun gameplay loops for their characters or I'll may regret that one.) Honestly tho, if Geshu wasn't heavily rumored to be Fusion, idk how interested I'd be...though no matter what his element, I didn't pull on Jiyan's weapon on either account (one I share Jinhsi, which works wonders, so even if I skipped Geshu, I'd probably eye up his weapon for sure.)
