Everytime Noel gets into psychedelic bass lines, we get a fuckin classic.
Chasing Yesterday is a gem. It's tragic that it came out in this commercial generation of music. Had it been released in the 90's it would have definitely gone down as one of the best. The song in particular makes me want to pack some stuff and go on this grand journey of exploration of cultures, people.... the right stuff...

Noel said this tune was originally a long, stretched out jam, but he shortened it up for the album. Oh, I want to hear the long version! I wish this song would never end...
If I'm not mistaken, he said that the long version had about 9 minutes, right?! I'd really kill to listen that.

this song pulls you out into space from your conscience as you feel gravity fade away, existence matters not, time matters not, what you are currently feeling is what music should always offer, always. Damn shame music can't always be like this, as beautiful of a tune, it's depressing to know folks just won't ever treat their ears with this audible delicacy. Like most art in life, the right stuff isn't what's on tv or the radio, it's this. 100%.

I've had this album on my phone for so long and weirdly, had never gotten around to listening to it properly.
Finally my phone decides to play this.
Amazing song! The vocals and the way they blend, and the music itself are beautiful and trippy that I had to put it onto my Trip-hop/chillout playlist. Takes me back to those days and kind of reminds me of Morcheeba.

Thinking its me I give this a listen and I realize no, it's definitely Noel. I get goosebumps every time he first comes in with "When your heart gets shattered". Never really experienced that with the recent album.
