I just love the fact Cole has such a soft tone to his meow as an adult, while Marmalade seems a little deeper but similar to how he was as a kitten now. XD

I have a large black cat like Cole who has a deeper meow, so it always catches me off guard when I hear Cole's high pitched meow since I'm used to mine's deeper pitch. His brother has a high pitched meow, though, he sounds a bit like Marmalade. Cole sounds like their mother.

I have a two year old whose very vocal
Lilly Cham I know! My cat Charlie is the probably the most talkative out of all of my cats! He’s so precious and talkative and very affectionate and he loves to sit on my bed next to me and purr! He was a kitten when my Mom found him outside he was covered in fleas and sick so we brought him in and he’s all better now and almost full grown but part of his tail is kinda strange looking. It almost seems like the previous owner of him might’ve get his tail stuck in something? It’s just weird and he’s been like that ever since we found him. He can still jump pretty good.
They're quite young to be so chatty. My experience is that kittens are noisy, then you get the sullen teenage period, followed by a silent maturity. It's only when quite old that cats discover that they get more attention by talking.
Mine is mute unless she wants something or is scared. She knows if she wants my attention she needs to meow. She's 3.
Mine must be an oddity! Ever since he was born, he's always been vocal! 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days of the year! (366 for leap year!) And when I say vocal, I MEAN vocal! In the words of Shrek, "It's getting him to shut up that's the trick!" But I wouldn't trade him for the world! Hearing him meowing, trilling, or even going "Murrow!" always makes me smile! Not to mention the many laughs his countless funny antics bring!

Kiwi Holmes :) I remember when mine was 2! Heck! I remember when he was a newborn kitten, just big enough to fit on my hand! Even then, he was the most talkative kitten in his litter! XD Now, he's 8 years old, but as fit and as fast as he was when he was 2!

My dog kept looking for the cats he was hearing, and one of my cats actually "responded" to some of Cole's meows with his own pitiful meows.

I had a cat named Marmalade from the time I was 6 until she was 14 years old and had gone away with me to college. It's funny, because your Marm sounds a lot like MY Marm. It makes me think of her every time I hear your Marm meow or make that weird little chirrup noise. Which is sad, but also very lovely and makes my heart feel a little better each time. :)

Long, the only reason I said that is because my channel name is my first and last name, but the only thing is my middle name starts with D, that's why I said D. for my full name.

I'm really sorry about that. Have you thought about volunteering at the SPCA? I've done it at the SF SPCA and I absolutely LOVED it. I had to stop because of health issues; but I plan to go back. You can choose whether you want to do cats or dogs (some people do both). That way, you can be around cats, help get them adopted, even though you're currently are unable to have a cat in your house.
BanaanPowah ask your mom if she would mind trying to be near a hairless cat for a little time to see if she has any reactions to that breed, as she may not be - it's worth a try ?!?

Seeing Cole noisily carrying his toy, our girl brings us her Crab toy & announces his arrival all the way through the house then drops him with a yell in the bedroom. Xx
