Have you ever done anything with a radial engine?? WW2 era type aircraft or biplanes. Curious how your products work on dripped, caked oil on the belly, engine and prop.
I've found the best/quickest way to remove exhaust residue is to use avgas. A quick sump of the tank just enough to soak the rag it comes right off. I appreciate what you do and teaching the rest of us, i thought you and or other viewers would like the helpful hint about avgas removing the exhaust residue.
So, Im an auto/marine detailer and had someone approach me regarding detailing and ceramic coating their planes. Will chemicals used on Automotive transfer over to Aviation? I didn't recognize any of the chemicals mentioned.
His special sauce is likely acetic acid (vinegar) and hydrogen peroxide. Pretty smart because acetic acid is typically stored in aluminum tanks so it won't corrode the airframe.
No its called Release www.cleaningsystemsinc.com/release/ It works much better on turboprop exhaust than piston exhaust. But on top of a ceramic coated aircraft like yours, I am sure it will do a great job!
Depends on the plane, usually hyper polish on a yellow rupes pad. Check out some of the other videos, I didn't go into a lot of process detail on this one

Thanks for sharing, avgas is a good solvent for oil based stains, but in my experience is not as effective for the white lead residue
@@AvianaAircraft 🤷🏻♂️ that’s probably why they paint them all white? 🤣 all jokes aside you’re an artist and your work is amazing!
@@adamralstin2008 Thanks, and thanks for watching!
Did I see you panel wipe the windows? Wondering if that’s ok to do on plexiglass

I think that IK foamer is a game changer. No affiliate links in the description?
I think I added it in newer videos. The foamer is fun. The foam concentrate, Release Ultra is not sold on amazon.
Taking care of mini help with anything
Hi - what do you recommend for (very small) touch up paint corrections; very minor chips or scratches? Thanks
Fill them with base/clear. Sand/buff
Does the Release product work better using the foam sprayer instead of a regular spray bottle?
I haven't tried, but I think the foam would give it longer dwell time to do what it needs to do.
How did you remove the exhaust residue?
I'm interested to know what product you used for ceramic coating? Asking because Cirrus advises against do this.
Cirrus also advises to use kerosene to wash the windshield so theres that
Great job buddy !! How much ceramic product is enough for a plane like that SR22T ? Thanks ! keep it up
Not much, 50-100ml usually
What was the product that you applied to remove the exhaust staining
A little something we are developing and trying to get Cirrus Approved :)
Aviana Aircraft Detailing anxious for this product to come to market. Let us know!:)
Hey do you usually polish and coat the windows?
on non-pressurized aircraft, yes!
Great job thanks for your video.
I thought cirrus doesn’t want ceramic coating on their aircraft?
Great job👍🏼
How did you get your name out there for getting business?
Word of mouth mostly, and UA-cam
Have you ever had any clients experience P static issues on specifically Cirrus aircraft?
Nope not a single one. That’s a fable made up by Cirrus based on some bad logical reasoning

Great video! The foam looks awesome for detail work! Is it your own recipe ?

Check out American Detailer Garage. There products are awesome!
What’s your preferred pad and polish for one step polishing on air craft ?
