there is armor that reduced damage from acid, its explosive resist armor. acid damage from spewers and bile titans are coded as explosive damage. so explosive armor will reduce the acid damage you take from them. thats why the Exterminator medium armor is explosive resist.
super funny, I just tried the fortified commando armor today (I loved it it), and a few minutes later I saw this video pop up on my recommendations
Heavy armor in general imo is better on the bot front, but intrestingly with bug acid(bile and nursing spewers, bile titans, spore charger death) is all technically “explosive damage”, meaning that fortified passive does indeed work against them, funny enough
Bug crowd control loadout. Light engineering kit. Breaker spray&pray with bushwhacker and thermite grenade, 500kg, grenade launcher, supply pack, rocket sentry. You can change the armor if you wish.
Whenever I get ahold of a machine gun I love to hold that reload key and crank the RPM up. Let the world experience how fun it is to have the gun really rip.
I would of used Hmg Emplacement instead of Rail cannon to complete the Tank theme, u can stem on the machine and are immune to being tossed around on it
If you want to go all in on "Need more gun", a MG sentry and Orbital Gatling Barrage make you the ultimate nightmare of mediums or lower.
For heavies...you'll need to rely on your teammates and thermites though 😊
Armors with explosion resistance is good against the acid spew of titans and spewers since its that dmg is coded as "explosive"
But using heavy armor against bugs is like a guaranteed death most of the times
You can sometimes kill chargers with the crossbow if you shoot at the ground underneath it. Its difficult sometimes but if you get at least 3 hits on its tail with the new explosion radius, you should see green blood which means its bleeding and on countdown to dying.
i bought that extra padding armor also, i am cannon fodder, and its amazing
Those 400 Supah Credits are worth it for tanking those wild Automaton potshots, for bugs I still prefer speed but it's neat seeing this armor be put to use on this front of the war
I feel like I really want to like the Crossbow but I just feel like I enjoy the shrapnel from the Eruptor more. Maybe I’m not using the Crossbow correctly or well enough but I think if it fired like 10% faster it would feel better for me imo.
The crossbow hits well. But I find it janky sometimes between shots. And it’s useless when you get bum rushed.
