Good sets , unfortunately rain is my enemy where I live , an it’s always raining lol .. btw I like the use of old waders for a kneeling pad , Thx for your time
Thanks man for this video! I do alot of beaver but my deer are starting to be affected by coyotes when feeding, gonna try your cable method and your mouse hole on, can't wait! I am around alot of water so maybe fish scraps after fillets are do could be my bait.....worth a try
Thank you. Those locations are good travel ways for Coyotes. I'm doing some testing of new bait and lure, getting some really good digging responses from.
Great question. I wouldn't have to remove the deer stop to get a shorter loop. Legally I can go 12 inches from the stop down to 2 1/2 inch diameter legally. Typically most guys want a larger loop. If I ran straight from the stop I could get 12 inch loop if I wanted. The reason why I run 10 inches is to prevent those deep flank catches, where they step through one leg. That has been my experience with this 285 cable. I wouldn't recommend modifying the cable in my state, would be my luck that would be the one the game warden would find. Hope that helps.
I see hunters and trappers are going to have to start getting involved in environment conservation wildlife and game meetings because all over are county the vegan and vegetarian people are involved and they are changing the laws and it's going to get to the point everything that trappers and hunters love will be taken away or very difficult for all of us....
Another great video packed full of information. Great job, can't wait for the season to start.

I agree a hundred percent on the cable restraints being no one.
I’m looking forward to trying the mouse hole set this year
Great educational video!!!!simple but effective!
Yeppers. Very effective 👌
Have you ever considered putting a deer stop at 31" so you can just open your loop and be legal at just under 10" loop?
Great info! Thanks

Snares are great, but not legal in okla. I prefer the step-down trail set. Blind sets. And the walk-through.
Who makes fatal who makes the fatal breath
Lesel makes that. I can't spell his last name very well, but most suppliers will carry it.
