THANK U FOR THE SPEEDY REPLY... i want to gather as much of the true information as i dont want to end up screwing up my motorcycle
The oil would still be good in the engine for 6-7k km.. That's when it should be changed. The company can't recommend top-up intervals because that depends on a lot of factors (oil quality included). If the manual says 1.5, I'd stick with that but I'd also pay close attention to the oil level. Last thing you want is to over or under fill the oil in the engine. A 2 litre can should be more than enough for changing and topping up the oil unless something is majorly long with the engine. If you end up having to use more than 400ml -500ml to top up before the next oil change, there's some issue for sure.
Also please check the water pump as sometimes due to excessive and hard revving of the throttle the water pump seals tend to leak and the coolant tends to mix with the engine oil, so make sure the coolant isn't mixing up with your engine oil by keeping a constant check on the coolant level before and after every ride which is easy guy's.

Nice video About Fan issue, I recently having so much trouble of fan for my 200NS. It was problem of Fan stopped moving because of Jamming From inside and it's wiring was burnt inside. I facing it from before lockdown started. I tried to find repairs but after traveling 20 kms in city like Ahmedabad I got only one who did it. I didn't get New because of lockdown issue. I looked for similar fans but not even 1 fan could replace it In last I tried 4.72 inch 3000 RPM PC DC Fan, it worked fine but it didn't Stop running neither heating goes down. I am thinking that after market fan has too high price of 7000 Rs.
Its simple physics that oem design was very bad for airflow. I am rebuilding the the cooling system with a new performance non coloured polished aluminium radiator and a dual fan setup with better radiator hose size for more radiator water capacity this would completely eliminate overheating issue for people that are living on hotter climates.
I usually change the oil on my motorcycle every 6,000kms. But I'm pretty sure the castrol one can last until 7.5k kms; which is the service interval recommended by KTM.
Hello Brother... I own KTM RC 390 and i have few queries 1. Is it normal to get 500 to 700ml less engine oil at the time of drainage? 2. Can we keep toping up engine oil after every 1500 kms? Thanks in advance...

@@OggyF okay thank u very much 😊 ill keep an eye on the oil level and measure how much do i have to top it off before the service interval
I have a BS6 Dominar which is due its first service and i’ve experiencing that weird sound coming out of the stock fan from the radiator
The sound shouldn't really be an issue... As long as it's keeping the engine temperatures in check.
Hai buddy. Thanks for the help 😌
Hey bro. You're welcome. Glad the video was helpful.
bro it's fit for Duke 390 2015??
Bro which company coolent is best for ktm rc390
Also please check the water pump as sometimes due to excessive and hard revving of the throttle the water pump seals tend to leak and the coolant tends to mix with the engine oil, so make sure the coolant isn't mixing up with your engine oil by keeping a constant check on the coolant level before and after every ride which is easy guy's.
Hi oggy, i own a first generation duke 390. Its the first time i hv an unresolved abs issue. My duke is timely serviced. I am not hapy visiting the service center. Any garage network in mumbai i can consult or walk in at? Also, any abs realted video link helps
Speak with either Joshua from @Garage52 on Instagram or Bhojraj from @paceandpixel. They'll sort you out.

I believe it was around 2.7k
Sir, what's you engine oil changing interval?
I own duke 390 2016 model I ordered 2019 #rc390 radiator fan , can I install both old and new radiator at a time
Hey man. Thanks a lot for knowledge drop. What's the app that u used for ordering those parts ? @4:16
You're welcome Shashkanth. It wasn't an app that I was using ..it's a product catalogue that I found online for the KTMs - www.boltonmotorcycles.com/partFinder/fiche/ktm/2015/rc-390-white-abs-b-d#content
@@OggyF thanks a lot! I need some suggestions from ur end. I got an RC390 2015. Been seeing issues with low oil pressure since the first year. I've made up my mind to rebuild the engine. Do you have any suggestions if I can tune to the bike like using the newer versions? The slipper clutch does supports on them. I did hear about the 2017 version had a fix for the low oil pressure. What are ur recommendations ?
Too lazy to do the research😅 Would the same mod work on RC200 MY2015.
Same frame and I believe same fan too. Should work.
Will try for sure!! Amazing DIY though and thanks for sharing it😊
Hello oggy this is the first time I'm watching your content and I absolutely love it dude. Thank you for various tips which helps a lot for noobie guys like us. Even though I don't own a KTM RC 390 yet, this content makes me more aware. Absolutely love it man. SUBSCRIBED.
Thank you brother. Glad the content is helping you 😊
KTM suggest motul 7100 why u use castrol power 1
Take a moment to read the owners manual and see what oil grade is recommended my friend.
Post 2017 RC and duke 390 models are very reliable.
Yup, I've not heard too many complaints about overheating from the post-2017 owners.
Mine dont overheat 390 duke 2018 model. Theg fix it already. If you want peace of mind and ok to spend and upgrade get a brushless fan
The cover-less is great for cooling off the hot air but beware the water scatter
Pls help me bro my gen 3 duke 390 is heating too much
Oil change interval with Castrol ?
I usually change the oil on my motorcycle every 6,000kms. But I'm pretty sure the castrol one can last until 7.5k kms; which is the service interval recommended by KTM.
Hi oggy what oil would you recommend for my 2017 rc 390? I’m confused between Castrol or motul/motulv2
Haven't tried the v2 but I can vouch for the performance of the Castrol 10w50
Hello Brother...
I own KTM RC 390 and i have few queries
1. Is it normal to get 500 to 700ml less engine oil at the time of drainage?
2. Can we keep toping up engine oil after every 1500 kms?
Thanks in advance...
that means ur bore worn out changs the bore n piston don't rebore its waste for 390s
Hi please share the online parts catalogue link🙏🏻. Will be helpful for many❤️
I’ve named my car as rage inspired by oggy bro ❤️😍 just wanna meet you Soon 🥺
Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us, Oggy F! By any chance, is there a part number for that new KTM fan that you upgraded to?
You're welcome. Strangely the part number remained the same in the online parts catalogue but the design was upgraded.
@@OggyF Oh really? Ok, thank you. I'll give them a call and make sure I get the right one.
bro can i get link of radiator fan
It's available at the KTM service center. Just ask them for the 2018 Radiator fan.

When that stock radiator fan turns on i have people stare at me as if I am riding some space ship 🚀
If i was at your place i would have optd ktm stock fan of latest rc and then would have done the R&D
So in 2017, you would've opted for the 2018 fan? 🤷♂️
No i meant , like recently u did all these trail right like geting the fan imported n all. So for that i said tht i would go for latest RC fan
No hard feeling just a thought. Its good u sorted the issue
Try honda 250 fan
I guess your dog had a deep bonding with the stock exhaust fan
Hahaha I kept it aside so he could listen to it somewhere in the future 😉
@@OggyF 😆😆
You forgot the cheapest option, put dry ice in the radiator
🤣
