I'm so happy that this series is back! I absolutely love seeing you go through makeup looks step by step, so seeing this in my subscription feed is a real treat. As for L'oreal, I've used their Lash Paradise mascara in the past. I've heard it's supposed to be a dupe for Too Faced's little pink tube, but I've only used the L'oreal formula so I can't really speak for that. It's gives your lashes some nice length and volume. Also if you want to try out some colored mascaras, their Voluminous mascara comes in burgundy, violet, blue, and green in addition to their normal 3 shades of black. The colors are nice and pigmented, and they might be fun to match a monochrome eye look.

I love seeing how Inglot Duraline was used. I've had that little bottle sitting in a drawer for a while after I stopped doing colorful liner, but I would've never thought of using it to make a liquid highlighter... gorgeous!
Yes Riley! Susie used Mehron Makeup Mixing Liquid on Phoebe, but I used Inglot Duraline as it was easier to find in Australia. Such a fun product to play with and adapt other formulas! 🎨 x

I very much enjoy when an artist can generously share what they used and how! Their hands and technique are still their own. This is a gorgeous look, and definitely wearable! I would opt for a midtone/deeper pink or brick shade on the lips for the summer time.
L’Oreal mascara’s are my favorite! Of the drugstore, they fall in between CoverGirl’s more dry formulas and Maybelline’s more wet formulas. Loreal is more creamy/balmy and I much prefer their packaging. Just a classy drugstore brand in general.
I definitely enjoy the classic Voluminous mascara. I always opt for black brown, even though it’s still pretty dark. Not as stark as black shades. This particular one tends to be better for more full eyelashes, not those of us with thin and sparse lashes, unless you wipe some of the product into the opening before application.
The age perfect mascara in the white tube is buildable, doesn’t pile on quite as much product, and I think offers a little more lengthening.
The Balm mascara is my favorite! This one is just as it says, like a bomb, but it’s not smudge or greasy. I get the most Feathery-looking lashes from this mascara and it’s the most buildable for me personally. It takes a long time for this one to actually dry out and the packaging is beautiful. It looks a bit like a chubby stick with it thicker packaging compared to the average mascara tube but it’s beautiful and looks nice with my Merit products. Yes, I like to keep a pretty aesthetic too. Anyone else not even touch bright and crazy-design packaging? I definitely like my L’Oreal mascaras, but I cannot compare to high-end because I’ve never bothered with such due to the frequent purchase nature of mascara. And frankly, many of the high-end formulas have now trickled down to the drugstore brands, especially with L’Oreal.

Loreal Telescopic is the one drug store mascara I actually like! I have super long, straight lashes and it doesn't make them spindly at all. You got me hooked on Chanel le volume years ago though and it's the best by far 😅
