🙌🏽🙌🏽 Wow! That looked amazing but I’d be afraid I’d catch pneumonia.😃 I cracked up when Carrie said Dave looked like the Hunch Back & looked like he was wearing a tent🤣🤣🤣
Hi guys! Wow!!!! What a great video. Nice job on the opening sequence! Haha turn for the better. Comfort zones are hard to get out of Dave! SNOAK....I love to make up words...that is a great one! That trail was gorgeous... Great views...the snowy walk back so pretty. Roodle cracks me up. Funny dog. The snow was amazing. And the hot springs.... Stunning. Your drone shots and music were amazing as always. Great job!!! 🤗💗
You guys are amazing. I would never have ventured so far with that forecast. But wow, what a magical reward for your bold adventure. Every week since you have highlighted Idaho, I say to my husband “this is not how I pictured Idaho”. Obviously it’s not a secret to those in the know. Can’t wait for the next video. Happy trails.
Our subscriber count has been going up so slow 😢 We might need to start asking people to subscribe more. I wish Roodle enjoyed a hot spring as much as we do. 😀
Just WOW, maybe your best video ever. Amazing adventure, great scenery, beautiful drone footage and professional level editing. First time you've done something that would have made me wimp out 😂. Maybe 20 years ago 🤔. Much respect for this one. Always a thumbs up 👍
Hi Dave and Carrie! My husband , Curtis and I, love watching your videos and look forward to them every week! Carrie, I am so proud of you for wanting to do this adventure. We have watched all of your videos from the very beginning and I love the fact how much you have grown and changed, willing to take on more adventure. Super job! We plan to have a nomad life as well in about 3 to 4 years. We are taking our time and slowly selling everything without panic. We also have financial goals that we are saving for so we can have this lifestyle. Just so you know, the videos that you claim are "boring" , regarding daily chores, are very insightful, and we enjoy them very much period so feel free to do more. LOL! I have been documenting, all of the cool places you guys have been and all the things you have recommended about each location and adventure. Maybe one day in the future we can catch up and say hello. We'd like to thank you for paving the way for us and making the transition a whole lot easier. Fondly, Jodi K.
We would love to meet up with you guys sometime! Thank you for all of your kindness. You are going to love this lifestyle so much! How does it feel to get rid of your stuff? I loved that part of getting ready! It feels like a huge load off your shoulders to me. Our email is listed in the description of every video if you have questions we would love to help ease your mind. We could even set up a Zoom call. 😀
We love you both have such adventurous spirits, your ability to see the positive in every situation, and your will to push yourselves out of your comfort zones! Thank you so much for the inspiration! We are learning so much from y’all and really enjoy your channel!!
Thank you so much! We love hearing comments like this. It's fun to inspire others and hope they will enjoy this lifestyle as much as we do. We hope you meet you on the road some time. Of course, if you ever have any questions we would love to be helpful. 😀
Hey David great video man! I love doing stuff like this getting out of our comfort zones like you said! I can feel the joy and happiness of your journey! Keep sharing these great moments!
I have watched your videos off and on and recently have been bing watching on my TV (with my dogs). Your videography is truly amazing. I love how down to earth you both are. It absolutely peaks my interests. I love how you are always concerned about your dog as well. That's awesome. Thank you for sharing these awesome places. I will never be able to reach some of them but absolutely enjoy watching your journey. 👍🏽🐾
Thank you Lucy, for your awesome and kind comment! We are having a great time sharing this amazing lifestyle. We are wondering if your dogs respond when they see Roodle on your tv. 😂🐕🎾
@One AdVANture At A Time my dogs are all seniors and are usually sleeping 😴 💤 But my grandog is a pug and yes, she reacts. She'll run to the TV, it's very funny.
You guys blow our minds! It's presently 51 degrees here in Florida. For the record we have the heater on & our tucked into our quilt. Amazing trip! Lou & Angie
We have to admit we are just now starting to get tired of the cold😂😂 We hope to drive to warmer weather in the next week or so. Currently, we are at 8000 feet in Utah and it's forecasted to get near 0 by this weekend for the low. Florida is sounding nice to us right now.
Thank you guys for talking us along. I wish I was there with you guys. Poor roddel when he was looking down at you guys 😄. What a difference he was going back home (van). Coming back down was scary when you should us those rocks you were walking thru. Those drome views here beautiful of all the snow. Thank you again for letting us see those beautiful places thru your eyes. Stay safe.
Thank you for all of your kindness! It was a slippery walk back! We bought Micro Spikes to pull over our shoes after this hike. Roodle has never been happier to see the van than this time. 😂😂😂
You guys have incredible talent at making phenomenal videos! What a beautiful place... Just beautiful! You two are living life at its fullest! Simply amazing! Safe travels! 👍👍👍👍👍😁
What a great video. Just wanted to mention I'm in a group on fb called Promaster Build Out and there was a post about traveling with a dog. I linked your video about traveling with Roodle and the lady responded to me that they loved your UA-cam Channel. It just made me smile.
That Roodle! Like a horse that is headed for the barn, he knew he was going home! That was quite a hike back, glad you made it safely. Thanks for your hard work to share this!
What a fabulous experience thanks for taking me on this hike. physically I could not do that. I don't think I would appreciate the snow as much as you guys did beautiful captures of the scenery
Hi Paul and Magen! It's definitely not for everyone. My favorite is watching large snowflakes fall from the sky while sitting in a natural free hot spring.😀😀😀
I dont know why I laughed so hard at Roodle use to being in comfort, in the van, with the heat on. He was like this is a cute hike but where are the true accommodations? Lol
The hot spring can raise your core temperature just long enough to dry off and get dressed if you hurry. That's if the water is warm enough. We just soaked in one that was only 97 degrees and it was 15 degrees out. Let me tell you......it was hard getting out! Just like you said. 😂
I'd have to be in there so long to raise my temp that I'd be a total prune when I got out. Lol. I do know what you mean, though. I sleep with a heating pad and my body temperature is quite high in the morning; so much that I don't feel the cold for quite some time. When it does hit me, I'm freezing. 😬
Glad you didn't fall and bust your ass on the slick trip back. It was nice Roodle got to go run off leash some though it surprises me he doesn't care for the hot water.
We ended up buying some Micro Spikes after this trip. They slide right on your shoe and make it nearly impossible to slip. I love them already and recommend them highly for snow and ice walking/hiking. I wish Roodle liked the warm springs, maybe it's the smell as well.
So glad you guys have each other. Would you do that by yourself? Maybe I would do it now after I watched your video. What emergency gear did you bring? Did you have cell service in the tent? When the video showed the snow In the morning ....Oooo! Beautiful. Loved the video. Love Roodle. Love you guys.
We did have cell service at the spring! I probably would not do this alone in the middle of the winter. That said this spring gets enough people hiking it to make you not feel alone most the time. We did bring rain gear and lots of wool clothing. Plus I packed my water filter and headlamp. For some reason this 2-mile hike in feels like 3 miles.😂 The soft falling snow is one of my favorite things ever!
Great video! Crazy how you'll picked hotsprings to go to in snow :) How does the van do in snowy conditions? I have a promaster 1500 too and worry about how it will handle in snow.
I enjoy your videos. Well done. In your introductory video showing the van at various locations can you tell me what is the location of the van driving through area of red soil and large boulders. Moab? AZ.? and what place is the van parked next to large body of water? sea, great lakes?

COULD NOT ASK FOR A BETTER HOT SPRINGS DAY. PERFECT. MY DOG WOULD BE NOSING THROUGH THAT SNOW LIKE A LITTLE 170 POUND BULLDOZER BUT HE IS BUILT FOR 20 OR 30 BELOW ZERO.
This reminds me a hike in the Pyrénées (moutains at the border between France and Spain). One day, there was too much snow for skiing, and with my group of students, we went to a wild hotspring. Bathing naked with a lot of snow all around was an incredible experience! (By the way, do you know if nudity is possible in this kind of springs?)
There are many pools here and some are private. I am sure nudity is common. Many of these hot springs in the western USA you can enjoy nude.😎 Hot springs in the snow rocks! That experience never gets old for me. 😎

So beautiful, I am blessed to be able to see this through your eyes because of my health would not let me get up there.
That looks like a fun experience.
It was awesome! So glad we got out and did it. 😀
The drone shots of the snow were glorious! Thanks for sharing.
Thank you, Jody! A big thank you to Bill at NomadderwhereVan for additional drone footage.

I love your videos and your crazy ideas ( spend a freezing night in a tent instead of the warm homey van?) only you guys. Great video. 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you, Maggie! Sometimes it takes a cold hard night sleep on the ground for me to appreciate how awesome our van is. 😀
U Guys ROCK!
Thank you, Ted!
Thanks for sharing! Love the views in the morning after the snow and the “snoak“ looked perfect!
Thank you, Jen! Snow and hot springs are two of my favorites!
Have fun and take care and take it easy and enjoy it
Thank you, David!
Thank you for sharing was wonderful
Ha we laughed our guts out watching Dave’s “hunchback”! Beautiful place, but we were distracted some! 😁🤙
I know right! I will tie a rope around it next windy/rainy day. 😂😂😂 It does double as a survival shelter.
Love you guys, you have given me so many new places to boondock. Thanks!
You guys have incredible talent at making phenomenal videos! What a beautiful place... Just beautiful! You two are living life at its fullest! Simply amazing! Safe travels! 👍👍👍👍👍😁
Thank you for your kindness! We are loving this lifestyle! Although we are starting to think about heading for warmer weather 😂
Great adventure and video! It's sure busier than when I was first there some 30 years ago and could often be the only one even in the summer.
We hear that year's back it was on the national news and has been super busy ever since.😢

That hike in was a great idea!
Thank you, Jeff! To think I almost talked Carrie out of it. 😂

Nice! We had a great time at Fiesta Island earlier this year. San Diego rocks! Thank you for watching.
For me, the worst part of a hot spring in winter would be getting out of the warm water into that freezing air. Brrr!!

It was a bit icy! After this hike back we bought Micro Spikes! 😂😂😂
@@oneadVANtureatatime there ya go I was thinking some kinda spikes you slip over your shoes
I personally would have no issue tent camping a night to bathe in a hot spring in the snow. My wife would tell me to pack sand 😂
